Drive was my first Kamen Rider (yeah I know, super late to the party), and while I've heard it breaks a few of the regular KR tropes, I loved it. Great looking toy vehicle. I'm always so surprised at how much little detail they can pack in to these sets.

I am still curious if the Tridoron can fit inside an ikea detolf at an angle. It's a truly gorgeous toy.

If I had money to waste I would immediately buy this vehicle. Like seriously, the detailing, the extra pieces it has, just everything. And that's not getting started on the LED's as well, I'm shocked and amazed that they managed to put those in there.
They really did a fantastic job with the Tridoron and if I had the money I would buy it. |
Drive took its sweet time getting towards its best parts but Tridoron always struck me as a cool ride. So I was pleasantly surprised to see this vehicle get the Figuarts treatment and Den-O's right; this is not a toy. This is a collector's item first and foremost.
But hey, it's a fun collector's piece. Working LEDs, option parts out the wazoo, and new parts for your Drive Figuarts mean that while this thing is never going to be cheap, it's certainly a worthwhile purchase for Drive fans. Having the option to just have the driver's side on display is oddly funny, as that looks like those rocket ship rides you see at supermarkets. It struck me as strangely weird in a good way. Bandai of Japan didn't have to make this but I'm glad that they decided to do so. |
It's a shame there's not even a papercraft version of the pit regularly available, because that'd be a ton of fun.

If I was a rich man, dedededededede...
I'll never own this, but it is gorgeous. My impression of the removable driver's seat section is so that you can display Drive "in Tridoron" without having to make shelf space for the entire car; hence, there's not really a reason for there to be a dummy part to replace it, as you'd presumably not be displaying the rest of the car if you were using that. I admit that I don't have an excuse for them not including a spare driver for the dashboard, though. That doesn't seem like it would have been too big of an expense. Then again, if Drive is transformed, Mr. Belt isn't going to be on the dashboard anyway... |
I'm not really into cars much, but Figuarts Tridoron is gorgeous. Seems even more so than the one on the show, funnily enough!

By the way, who's filling in for Shinnoske in that one pic? I frequently wish there were "secret identity" Rider figures, and that seems like a decent substitute.
|
I'm really impressed they were able to pull this off at the SHF scale so perfectly. Super cool.

Love this updated gallery. Thanks for the entry.
