Figuarts Metal Heroes, Action Works Metalder, and the DX's of Kabutack & Robotack have gotten me this far! Now if only Bandai would do some more of the obscure heroes that there simply isn't a 6" equivalent of.

If you ever manage to get Janperson, Gungibson, and Billgoldy in the future please recreate this scene. :lolol

I will! There are a number of goofy scenes like that I'd love to recreate, but even more badass ones like this one :(

Metal Hero Keys will be finished seeing as that next set officially completes the lead character of every series. Them doing the other heroes outside the leads is a pretty unlikely thing in my opinion. But I'd love to see it. If you'd told me 6 months ago there would even be a new set of Metal Hero keys I'd probably have laughed at you. So anything's possible.

But for Figuarts we have Fire here, who was pretty ambitiously a retail release. However he hasn't sold extraordinarily well. Though I suspect Bikel & presumably Walter being web exclusives was the plan from the get go. But I'd say this trio is the test of what they plan to do next. Winspector was a very popular show. And without going back to do renewals of Gaven Shaider & Sharivan next I can only imagine the next logical choice for Metal Hero figuarts would be either Solbrain or B Fighter Kabuto.

I want K. I swear that poor guy has no modern articulated figures. :(


That's kinda sad to hear about Ryoma, if not entirely surprising. I would totally eat up a Solbrain (affording it is another matter, but I'd want one. :lol) Speaking of wants, I'm also still waiting on Spielban, which seems to have just fallen off into figuarts limbo.

Do we have any idea how well Juspion sold? Curious if that may have had anything to do with it, where they just decided it wasn't worth it and to only focus on later series.

I would do horrible things to get a K Figuart. Zubat too but K is near top of my want list at the moment.

Juspion is hard to gauge. As a web exclusive he was more less made to order. They do turn up on sites like Mandarake and Jungle but often for around 5000-6000 yen. His original retail was 5184 yen so he at least tends to hold his value. That may have been the indicator that led Fire to be a retail release. Obviously he hasn't done super well though. But I could see at least the lead hero of one or more series getting the retail treatment too. Sentai did it several times before going out of existence so it's possible.
I too would give Bandai secret volcano lair money to ensure a K happens.

I'm always once who believes in the impossible, so I think it'll happen!

On the subject of Figuarts, Robot K sounds good. I used to think he was a Metal Hero.
