There seems to be some confusion about Ichigou Damashii. It's Ichigou, not Showa. I understand why having one side be Heisei may lead one to think the other is Showa, but it's just Ichigou.

That being said, it's an...unique suit. I see what they were going for with keeping the suit from being too bulky by not giving him a jacket, but it certainly looks weird. They probably could have done more to keep it distinct. Maybe coloring the skeleton green or something. I don't hate it, but it certainly is weird.

And yeah, not really seeing where Heisei looks like Drive, it's seriously just a Grateful recolor. That aside, I have mixed feelings about it. It's a neat design in theory, definitely prefer the use of the symbols over the idea of having faces on the armor, and the "Hei" crest is clever enough, but the suit itself looks kinda cheap and clunky. Not a big fan of the red either, I was expecting it to be more silver...it's kinda eh.

It's actually kanji (Hei from Heisei) but not nearly as elegantly used as it could have been.

The 45 eyecon actually appears in the Wizard chapter of the legendary rider soul specials. It's a combination of all 16 Kamen Rider eyecons so it makes sense how it's similar to Grateful. It appears near the end of the special for those who want to see it.

Ichigo Damashi looks like Ghost is wearing a hijab.

Honestly, Heisei isn't that bad, though I think the helmet looks really dumb. I kinda wish they'd use some other color than white, maybe silver? Red and silver is usually a good color combo.

The other one though... The only think good I can say about that is that the Ichigo helmet looks kinda cool with a hood.

Heisei Damashii looks alright. The Showa Damashii to me looks bad. I'm getting a similar vibe from Kamen Rider 15th from over a year ago when looking at these designs.
