It's not that I have any problem with him being Arcanon's servant and his connections to the Silver Ranger plot, it's him appearing as a random monster/servant right then and there. If Arcanon had Singe and another, and introduced Doomwing and his "counterpart" later, it would've felt natural and fluid.

OK I understand, but since there's only 7 episodes left in the season they needed to do it now.

If they had chosen someone else and used Doomwing and Silver's true self later, then they could have called them the "Wing Brothers" instead of shoving him alongside Arcanon as a General. Remorseful Knight Arslevan from the "100 Years After" would have sufficed. However, if 7 is all that remains (not counting Halloween and Christmas specials), then the timing kinda makes this understandable.

I actually agree with what is said. But I am not sure what surprises me more. That they used the statue of liberty monster (main villian from its counterpart) or that they bothered to mechanism his and doom wings mouths. It's that little touch of moving mouths I really enjoy in power Rangers.
