Very happy that Bandai is going back and releasing more showa riders and their bikes.

Hopefully we see showa rider ZX and his bike soon that the one I looking forward to getting.

First of all we all knew only one day in advance since it went live during the middle of the month, not on the first day of the following as usual, second it was simply horrible. I hadn’t seen such madness since the Gaim days, the figure was sold out within a minute of being listed.

Which is a good thing for you because Tamashii would be stupid to not give this bad boy a second run.

If you don’t want to wait for that scout AmiAmi and HLJ like a hawk for the next few days. I have seen it available on HLJ a few times during the last weeks, maybe you can still get one before they are gone.

Just realized that, maybe it has some new tooling to it after all. But still weird that they don’t put it in stores together with a second run of Double.

Smells like a last minute effort to cash in on the Shinkocchou Seihou Double hype to me.

This sounds really weird. They usually make sure both Rider and bike land in the same stores at the same time.

It's an updated sculpt meant to go alongside a really promising release but they sell it through the Web-Shop only? I don't understand.

But hearing that it features new sculpts and is meant to go with the new figure is a great confirmation for anyone who is interested in it; at least you're not buying an overpriced reissue :)

How is that confusing? It's W's bike, it's meant to go with the new W figuart, because it's his bike. Bikes never sell well at retail, so it's an exclusive. They aren't expecting every single person who bought a W to buy this. But it's clearly meant to go with him, it's an update to compliment the W update. It's just bound to sell bad as the last several retail bikes have done.

And the point that they make sure the 2 come out at the same time is completely false. Look at the Kabuto Extender coming out 2 years after Seihou Kabuto, admittedly a reissue coincided with it though. But look at the Showa riders who only recently have been getting bikes. The riders have been out for years and now they put out the bikes, sure they're releasing 2-packs for them with the bike & rider but the riders themselves have been out for ages, in some cases nearly 5 years. Or take Decade, no new bike for his Seihou has been released yet, or Gattack. The trend your implying exists, doesn't really.

So why not having the bike in stores next to a figure which does incredibly well pre-order wise? And it's not like they couldn't plan this, they could've waited to the first of the next month. The bike was obviously done since I'm pretty sure the one that was displayed alongside the figure when it was first revealed is that new one.

Again, it's not that you're wrong, they do sell terrible, seems like a weird time for Tamashii to start noticing it though.

But it exists. And since Gattack is a Web-Exclusive anyways they don't even bother releasing it in stores, why should they?

The one you’re trying to say I’m implying doesn't, that’s true. They’re not giving every Renewal release a bike and it's not always at retail.

But, if they have a new Rider at retail and if they have a new bike ready bikes usually land in stores alongside the Riders so that the bikes sell better. That’s the only thing I’m trying to say, and this release doesn’t fit the mold is all I’m saying.

It makes perfectly sense to sell bikes through the Webshop since they don’t do well at retail. But usually new bikes who’s Riders are in stores (or can be reissued) at a similar time get their bikes released alongside them. This is how it goes every single year.
