Don't worry guys the people working on this actually seem to care and know about Godzilla. Also everyone that's seen the teaser have had nothing but good things to say. So that's two pluses so far.

It just seems weird to me that you'd look at a movie that is very clearly science fiction and say there's nothing sci-fi about it. Even if the monster is the only fantastical element and everything else is grounded, that's the textbook definition of hard sci-fi. Hoping it's just odd phrasing, which it probably is, since it's from an unscripted panel.
