I actually like the Alpha figure and I have no clue why, I am curious how he will sound in the movie though.

Watch if Alpha was an Ultraman monster then most of the people who don't like it would probably enjoy it more.

Ironically, not being chicken legged was the one thing I could praise about the design :lol

As figures these look fine, stupid lack of weapons aside, (seriously even the Legacy rangers at least have a sidearm and a Megazord piece to try and make up for it) but the movie costumes just don't translate well. The details are lost almost entirely, and the little silver paint there is doesn't do anything to pick out the sculpt. Not that it could if it wanted to.

Am I the only one who noticed that Alpha 5's head looks like a Pogo Ball? I understand they're trying to throw in some 90's nostalgia, but that's not the kind of nostalgia that I wanted.

A bummer that the other four only get hadoukens. No axe? Lance, daggers, bow?
Other than that figures look nice.
