Yes, both of these releases are entirely new molds. Cast improvements over the original releases.

Well they are new mold but the breaking wrists could still happen. I believe the plastic that is use with the chrome is different than other plastic that figuarts are made with.

I would not feel to confident buying any gavan figuart. Why there were so many breaking wrists that it was very common. I believe that there was a member or two here on tokunation that had theirs break.

So I guess it a risk to take to see if these new molds will hold up or the same breaking wrists will happen.

It to bad gavan did not get the ball hip joint like the b fighers got that would of been better IMO.

Not true, that's total inference on your part. It has nothing to do with what's used for chrome. It had to do with the wrist pegs, which pretty obviously, weren't chrome.

Why? The old ones broken because the wrist pegs were on EXTREMEMLY thin plastic. There wasn't enough mass to support changing the wrsists regularly. That's what caused a number of them to break. But obviously that's something taken into account with these renewals. And yes, I'm one of the people who had that issue, but only on my Gavan Type G.

What risk is there? The ENTIRE point of these renewal bodies is Bandai is owning up to how flawed the original ones were. Do you really think they'd release updated figures with the exact same issue like that? And as for ball style hips, yeah that would be great. But could you have picked a worse example? The B-Fighters have the most limited hip movement of any Metal Hero figuarts.

Well, my collection of S.H. Figuarts is kinda short, as in 1 half-eaten Sailor V Figure (blame my dog)...I've never watched Gavan, and from what I've researched, G is just a movie one that keeps on appearing with no real show, but that motor-cycle-thing...i honestly wanted Kikaider just for his vehicle, so...
