Not entirely wrong, but the full spectrum of viewers will give "scathing" reviews, just for different reasons! PR types (like my self) won't stop comparing it to the original, and the rest will analyze it critically based on technical details and how the Actors interact with story and effects.

As someone who honestly cares very little for MMPR, I will most likely be the later half.

What I mean by it's like Dairanger is that it has just as much seriousness to it as it had silliness. It was a perfect mix and except for one crudy joke at the beginning of the movie, spot on.

Overall, yeah, I am quite pleaed to have been wrong about it. It was great. It's not going to win any Oscars, but it was indeed Power Rangers.

They are NOT representative of the movie at all! It's a very fun movie that people should try out for themselves imo

I'll give it a watch once it hits Netflix then.
