That was my thought as well. When I first saw it I assumed it was just a new head and paint job but that torso is definitely different too.

It's actually pretty cool that they did that since the Type A suit does have a number of notable differences from the later iterations of the suit aside from just the face.

I dig it but the pricing on Figuarts is getting as bad as Figmas.

The final product's eyes look nothing like they did in the prototype. The eyes on the prototype (also what is pictured on the box) had the eye holes placed where they are in the show, which is by the nose area. The final product has the eye holes in the center of the eyes, which is incorrect.

Gotta say I'm really surprised by this. It's not something I'd get, mainly because I can't afford every figurart out there I have a mild interest in, especially in the high fifties. But I always appreciate first appearance figures, and the fact the were able to capture the botched mold of the original mask is pretty impressive. Though I wonder how well that will look on the actual release? Also curious if they'll go through the trouble of a B-type?
