Clearly you missed the point. I paid $70 for all 26 episodes of Outlaw Star. If both volumes of Garo cost $25, that's $50, which is less than OS.

Clearly, you have no idea how licensing works. If they sold the whole series for $40 or less, they would be taking a loss.

Also, you do know the more episodes they put on a disc the quality diminishes right? No one would be stupid enough to cram a whole series on one disc.

Awesome news!

I don't think it's expensive, but maybe that's because I'm used to higher prices. In any case, I like to get blurays of my favorite shows whenever possible (both to support things I love and because I strongly prefer blurays over, say, internet videos), so this is an easy purchase for me.

Nihon's located in the US, so they follow US copyright. You could just import the discs from the US.

It's not as easy as you make it sound.

I know you want people to support this but not everyone has $25(To then convert into USD) to throw around willy-nilly like this. Not only that but not everyone here has access to a Blu-Ray player.

1. How can not everyone have access to a BD player? You can get one for $20 and all disc based gaming consoles play BDs now.

2. The US dollar is so pathetically weak right nowI don't see how that is an issue.

3. I'm not talking about the general populace, I'm talking about those bitching and moaning that a US based fansub group, that provides subs for free, is going to remove their subs becasue an official copy is coming out in the US. It's not like these people didn't have 11 years to download the show.
