Ooh! What about the brutal fights of Kuuga VS Porcupine Prick or Ex-Aid Muteki VS Para-DX? Drive Deadheat being enraged at Medic, Gentarou bonding with Tomoko telling her too!
|
If we're talking about sad feels, then Chase's death is the main one. The ending of the Gaim movie war hits hard too. Heart's death, either one

The penultimate episode of W hit me really hard. So did the finale, actually, but in a much more positive way.

Kamen Rider W 48. It was one of the few times I actually cried watching something.
|
Yuuka's death in 555, episode 48 of W, Sano's death in Ryuki, the death of Battle Hopper, Emu's reaction to killing Dan, Risa's death in Agito, Kenzaki's sacrifice, Kouta's reaction to learning of Yuuya's fate.

Ooh, this is a fun topic! Let's see here:
- Obligatory shout out to Blade's finale and more specifically that f***ing bench. - Obligatory shout out to both of Double's last episodes. If you didn't at least consider crying during the climax of episode 48, I'm not sure you're human. Sorry Kiwami. - The entirety of Fourze's last episode. Man, I love that show~. - Just to get in the obligatory unpopular opinion, Haruto's whole solution to the dilemma in his chunk of the Gaim and Wizard movie. I wasn't bawling my eyes out or anything but it's pretty much proof positive how underrated Haurto is as a character, let alone the show he's from. - Gaim is a show that I have a pretty... complex relationship with, so suffice it to say, it's made me feel all kinds of emotions on levels very few other shows ever have. Frequently even the ones the show intended! Special mention goes to when Mai finally gets in on the loop and instantly gets that Kouta is going through some serious emotional trauma. I see people say that Mai was a bad character sometimes and I'm not sure what show they were watching. Another special mention to the resolution of Kouta and Micchi's big fight towards the end of the show. Those feathers may be pretentious, but I could care less. For all the s*** I talk about Kouta, the man is a saint. - Since it's the currently airing series (unless you're reading this in the distant future of two weeks from now) I'll go ahead and mention that the climax to episode 28 was the most emotion Ex-Aid got out of me so far. Like I literally felt it in the gut. It was extremely weird given how often I find Ex-Aid's big emotional moments... don't exactly fall flat, but I watch them and normally just go "ahh, this is really well done!" without feeling it too deeply. I'm not sure what made this one different. Anyway, that definitely doesn't cover all of them (I kind of like this franchise, you see), but that's enough for now. Apparently I have a thing for unusual resolutions to fight scenes, so just pretend I talked about all the rest of those. ;) |
