It's possible, but only if it's temporary cameos.
Scheduling conflicts and commitments. As a regular, would only happen if they were trying to make a transition from music to acting. And then also language barriers if there are any and how to work around that. Not all people in Asian countries can speak other Asian country languages. |
Language shouldn't be a problem since many Korean artists had already learned Japanese or Chinese so they can be active in those markets. The only barriers are their schedules and whether their agencies want them to do it or not

Can’t go wrong if K-Pop got into the toku industry.

Well looks like I'm not alone. Yes, I would love if Japan can allow South Korea to adapt Ultraman and have V or Jin of BTS to play Ultraman's human character.
For quite some time, I always wondered why K-drama fans won't branch out to Toku. I mean I don't know how many of you watch the Chinese drama, Ice Fantasy. Does this Chinese drama remind you of Toku in some way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdRcmVXqg8M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GDd...U#action=share Yeah, a lot of K-drama fans love this Chinese drama and yet these same K-drama fandom didn't branch out to K-toku like Legend Hero. I mean what the hell? I agree there are K-dramas that do have toku like special effect like this scene from Gu Family Book: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pfu1...ature=youtu.be And look at Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child, another K-drama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZuNrSUCwVA Their special effect do look a lot like what you seen in Toku. So I don't understand why K-drama fans don't branch out to Toku including K-toku. So this makes me wonder if K-toku should have famous K-pop idols in order for K-drama fans to branch out to K-toku. |
I haven’t seen too many Asian dramas outside of toku, though I do remember liking Wolf Boy and Gu Family Book. Think I spotted Ice Fantasy on Netflix, so I might give it a watch one day (assuming it’s still available).
TWICE did a cover of the Jackson Five’s I Want You Back (in English) for a Japanese film (forget if it was animated or live-action) earlier this year, so you never know. A K-pop artist/ group performing a toku theme might be possible. |

IMO, most K-drama fans watch the dramas for the love story. Whether it's historical, action, sitcom... it's all about the love story. And most Toku do not focus on it

So that means there's something preventing K-drama fans from watching K-toku like Legend Hero, I don't know what. |
