Cute movie. A bit too basic for me, although the first third with the people chasing Build was really cool. Lots of amazing airborne-shots too.

The rest is typical Rider-movie stuff, nothing too special here.

Was it the Cross-ZBuild suit that they where supposed to use at the end of build but the suit got damaged ?

I did hear the reason for the very cheap CG Dragon Rabbit suit was that the suit they where going to use had been damaged at least.

I like to think they were going to use RabbitDragon in the first place, but while making the suit, they scrapped it in favor of Cross-ZBuild. And since they were at the end of the show, they probably had no budget left to finish it.

Finally watched it. Pretty solid Kamen Rider summer movie. Not as good as the best parts of Build, but definitely better than the worst parts. The Blood tribe trio were extremely flat characters, but villains for these movies have a habit of being like that. Them having been secretly responsible for the whole plot of Build all along was pretty dumb, but since it's never mentioned again, it can definitely be ignored if you want. Other than that, not much else to say. The movie exclusive suits were decent, a bit too busy, but not bad. Everyone in team Build got a bit of focus, besides Sawa. Evolt and Utsumi got totally ignored, but they weren't the villains of this story, them being part of it wasn't necessary. Overall, a fun experience to watch!

I liked cross new world better just from the raw. Usually vcinema budgets are lower and less flashy, but more grounded and retain the tv tone. A nice epilogue, but feel very shonen db like. Subs coming soon I guess.

I'm honestly not ready for Build to be over yet, so I'll happily keep taking whatever they dish out.


(I don't hate Zi-O but he doesn't thrill me like Build did. I'm a little, "Meh" on Zi-O. I want to like it more than I do. )
