This is cool and all (seriously it’s a good sculpt) but I’d rather see a SS Birth (last one was NOT good), new OOO’s bike or a human Woz figure. However this still a good thing that’s happening with Ank but I’m probably gonna pass on this.

They are still working on his fabulous hair. Do you have any idea how much time, work, and hair products it takes for it to be that fabulous?

Clearly, Bandai's plastic hair stylist was busy with Ankh.

If this release had been Ankh's Greeed form, I could have ignored it. As it is, I want this figure and want to give Bandai incentive to make more human Figuarts. Edit: And according to Google Translate, the actual product page says, "And it can also be combined with the optional SH Figuarts Ankh," so we don't even have to speculate on that part.

Honestly, the fact that we're getting a human Ankh is probably a good sign that Bandai is trying to ride the OOO train for a bit. I'd imagine Birth won't be too far behind.

Going by original Figuarts release dates (which OOO has stuck to completely so far, and Seihou tends to stick to in general), we can expect Birth to happen after Ratoratah, Sagohzo and Tajador. I could definitely see him happening earlier, though; I would not be surprised to see him between Ratoratah and Sagohzo.



So this is the first human figure in Seihou Kamen Rider; and I'm curious to see if this will continue at all. I know I personally would love to see a Tsukasa or Misora or something, but this is a good sign altogether. I would now definitely bet on the possibility of Hana getting redone when they eventually get around to Den-O.

Also, this now means that our modern human Kamen Rider lineup now consists of Ankh, Kuroto Dan and Takeshi Hongou. I can only imagine a dynamic of Ankh strangling Kuroto while Takeshi sighs in the background, thinking to himself that maybe he should have destroyed Heisei Rider after all.

Hearing that this figure can use the SS ankh hand makes me really sad i skipped out on it because i had the old SHF Ankh hand. But im still going to get this one and hope i can find an ankh arm down the line.

Either way, hand!Ankh is retail, so it might not be too hard to get when it comes out. Also keep an eye out on certain sites for people who might be cancelling their pre-orders.
