And so we finally have our first full look at Ultraman Reiga and his transformation item, the New Generation Eye.

Huh a repainted Zero Eye. Well not the first time movie items being repurposed toys but this is surprising.

Reiga really screams like Taiga fused with Geed the most. It is interesting that it is a fusion of NG Ultramen, which could be an homage to how the Ultra Brothers fuse with Taro.

The scan images say Ultraman Reiga is the transformed state of Hiroyuki using the New Generation Eye, and The New Generation Eye is an item that was created by combining the powers of Ginga Victory, Exceed X Beta Spark Armor, Orb Trinity, Geed Ultimate Final, Ultraman GRB, and Taiga Tri-Strium.

Oh, Reiga looks super cool! So it's actually Hiroyuki himself as an Ultraman? That's interesting.

That's what it says but the way I see it, it probably is an amalgamation of the mentioned ultras' essence/energy materialized as the New Generation Eye and Hiroyuki is the host as usual maybe? It probably is not "Hiroyuki's own Ultraman form" since he is not an Ultra in a biological sense.

Movie items are always repurposed toys. Fusion Brace was obviously another Strium Brace, Orb Slasher is a variant of Xlugger, and Giga Finalizer is based on Orbslugger Lance. The only time the movie item is completely original was Beta Spark.

yeah, still it's a bummer. It's not even painted better or looks cool.

If anything they turned the awesome Ultraman Zero Henshin Device into a cheesy looking lucha libre mask
