It was less direct I would say than the SCRTC track uniform and the Good Three manga cause the Burn Blacker attack by Smog Jouki is clearly an easter egg that is making reference to Tyranno Sonic used by guardian beast Tyrannosaurus so technically we got one. :lolol

I'm cautious to give an answer to that as the show is still new, but so far I think it is actually good. I would give it a try. Watch the first 5 episodes (including 0) and see if you like it.

First time in a while I'm enjoying a Sentai again. Even with Ryusoulger around this time, I thought it was a bit of a slog. Plus I do like how they handle the small easter eggs, like this episode with Jouki's breath attack being a reference to Tyrannosaurus's breath attack in MMPR/Zyuranger.
