The item page notes 'upper body parts for replacement', so it's very possible it is compatible with the Sword Form and Gun Form parts!

I so hope that it’s true, it’ll make not having to get duplicate armors for buying two of sword/gun and rod/axe. Which will also be lighter in the wallet by a bit. Just get two plat forms instead.
