The ryusoul kens could also be in a case refresh, 2nd assortment, or with the armored variants. Really want to see what they will do for the max ryusoul changer and ryusoul ken.

Please for the love of god, don't replace the upgrade changers with reshelled garbage like the beast-x king morpher. That thing didnt even look anything close to the prop, THAT THEY DESIGNED.

Also, anyone whose owned the beast morphers basics figures, do your copies also have weird cuts and scrapes on the plastic?

Things change, Hasbro never owned power rangers before either. And you probably weren't working at walmart when they ordered these toys.

Hasbro does something similar for their transformers size classes. Leaders are seperate from voyagers and deluxes.

For beast morphers, they seperated the zord assortment like they do size classes. One was a case of the triple converting zords assortment, which were bigger, and had a higher parts count. And one a case of the dual converting zords assortment, which were simpler and had a lower parts count.

The zords were initially priced 30 for the triple changers and 20 for the dual changers, but at the last minute, Hasbro raised the price to 30 for dual changers, which was reflected in the catalogue shown to stores from sales reps. Thats what my friend at my local target told me, and they were seperated into 2 assortments. Other retailers also reflected this in their bulk listings for cases. So thats what i meant, the triple changers cases also only had 1 of each per case, and that was the same with the dual converting zords assortment.

Going by the Detail and Articulation of the Champion T-rex Zord I'm betting it's going to be around $50.

Thinking about it, it's very much like a leader-class transformer, right? And it's easier to justify when the other four are so functionless that they'd likely be 10 each or so.

I mean when the line is mainly aimed at kids and the brand has pretty much had a whole megazord for 30-40 in previous years, i don't think its a good idea to price as high as the inflated transformers msrps. They are selling to mainly young children and i doubt parents would be willing to shell out 50 for a single childrens toy. The beast morphers zords were priced fairly at 30 and sold fast at retailers that carried limited stock.

With the increased detail and articulation, 35 to 40 would be fair, as the molded detail doesn't cost them much, its the parts count and paint that does. The champion zord is a dual changer with probably deluxe level articulation, and since its mainly red, it will probably be bare red plastic, with gold and silver paint details. At least thats my guess, just so they don't kill their sales with the main market.

It does make more sense in that regard to price one toy at 50, but i was viewing it in a similar regard to transformers, which has multiple leader class figures per wave at 50. If its only one megazord, maybe they could bite the bullet, as the other zords, as you said, will probably be around 10-15. Still pretty pricey.

I can wait to get the basic Red Raider first.
