I've gotta say that looks like one awkward-as-hell transformation device.

its far from the prettiest the way the 2 handles are oriented is what seems odd... why does it have 2 handles AND a crank? Zenkaiser is a human.. not a 3 armed alien right? DOes he need one of the robo rangers to help him transform?

I mean it's not hard to imagine that you'd turn the crank and /then/ hold the gun by both handles. They're not all happening at the same time.

I have to admit I don't really understand all the confusion. This is far from the first toy gun to have two handles?

It seems like a cool toy. I'm not the biggest fan of henshin devices that are literal weapons (mostly due to the size discrepancy) but hey we still got a belt that uses the collectible.

Looking more closely at it, despite its form factor, it's relatively small and ZenKaiser is holding it like a handgun, so.... mystery solved?

Yeah, I bet the front handle is for when you're cranking it with your other hand.

So, looking at each Gear Tooth, there are 2 States that each tooth can be at. inner tooth short, outer tooth long and outer tooth long, inner tooth short. There are 8 teeth. 2^8=256. Way more than the 45-46 Super Sentai Teams. Therefore, they have more than enough possible combinations for even Auxiliary Mecha.

If I may, it's probably more in the lines of:

GEAR + T(ORI) + (GAT)LING+(CHANG)ER = GEARTLINGER

with TORI being the Japanese word for bird.
