Ummm...there already IS a Minipla Daizyujin (Dino Megazord). In fact, there’s Minipla of the entire MMPR season one Zord set

I could potentially see them re-issuing Daizyujin for this. Though, man, I'd especially love to see them do Goranger's Variblune... I think that would be the Super Minipla I'd get!

I've hardly watched any Gaoranger/Wild Force, but my cousin had the Megazord toy and that was such a fantastic set. FOMO is settling on me for this one haha

Is it not? It seems to be held in high regard, it got good ratings on its original run, and it's part of the MMPR trilogy of nostalgia

I feel like it does simply because MMPR had such a huge impact at the time. As far as I can tell Zyuranger wasn't seen as anything special aside from introducing influential tropes, and Kakuranger had a huge drop in ratings after Dairanger (7.0 -> 5.7) Yet Zyuranger was the first Sentai Super Minipla, and Kakuranger got some releases as well (which were sold in US stores instead of just imported online)

Of course, I'm not an expert on analyzing these things, but I can't imagine they're just ignoring the huge international appeal that the MMPR seasons have.

Nah, Zyuranger was a runaway success at the time. It's easy to see the american use of the footage as important because obviously that is the one that sees most worldwide success, but ultimately it's not seen as much more than the overseas version in Japan and these are figures aimed at Japanese collectors with no direct overseas release. Super Minipla is targeted pretty specifically at Japanese Super Sentai fans, and Zyuranger is a very beloved season no matter if Saban's use of the footage proved popular in America or not. Though I believe when it came to Super Minipla back in the day, those did have western releases? So that probably did play a part, but it wouldn't factor at all into decisions on which seasons to cover today.

When talking about ratings you also have to consider the -fan- aspect -- something that may not have been popular at the time could have become a big cult favourite among the fandom later. In particular Super Minipla bases most of its release choices on surveys it hands out to fans; and sure enough, Gaoranger has been very high on recent surveys.
