A theoretical LC Megazord and/or Dragonzord would probably be the same height as the previous Non-Transforming Zeo Megazord.

The benefit of these figures is how they'll pair with standard action figures.

In the days of Old Bandai, they would release 5 inch Megazord figures which paired well with Villains and Monsters.

While these will be taller, they'll still compliment older Megazord and Monster figures and look especially good next to the current age of standard Hasbro figures. Vargoyle VS. MMPR Thunder Megazord? Evox VS. Galaxy Megazord? Sold!

I definitely think there'd be some merit to an LC Megazord line in the same vein as their Monsters line. Something like 8- or 9-inch articulated figures as a great setpiece to go with the Rangers. If you mostly just made the main ones and sixth ranger ones you could easily cover a lot of lines in a short amount of time; or even if they did the same "2 every half a year" thing as the Monsters line it would still feel satisfying

It' s hard to see how these are aimed at kids when they are the mechs from the series that today's adults grew up watching.

Do you also think Funk Pops are for kids? This is for sure for adults.

Hasbro, why don't you just do full on Lightning Collection Megazord figures? Yes, combiners are cool, but you know how much people would love to have fully articulated 6"/7" Megazord figures?

The Lightning Collection Megazord figures probably would be really similar to Super Robot Chogokin toyline.

There's no way they could match that engineering for the price point of even a premium LC. SRC used metal parts and ratcheting joints. The scale would be too small too.

I don't think it was an official LC figure. Just something they were trying that didn't work as well as hoped.

It's main downfalls were with distribution and the high pricetag. If it was to appear in stores, that didn't happen. I have only ever seen it in one shop, and that was a privately owned toy shop! Second, it's expensive for a Megazord that doesn't separate. It may look good and move good and pose well and I would like to get one, but I can see why they might not move forward with it.

I think Hasbro is still trying to find solid ground with Megazords! They haven't been doing so hot and now they're experimenting all over again to see what sticks.
