I kind of wish it got a regular release instead of being limited to Premium Bandai. I kind of find it sexist for Bandai to make a female S.H. Figuarts figure limited to Premium Bandai.

The majority of male Riders are P-Bandai exclusives now though, it's only the main Rider and one other who aren't, Vulcan, Blades, and this year the other main Rider, Vice. Now Sakura's belt being a P-Bandai exclusive, there's definitely an argument to be made for that having a sexist motivation

That's how they've done recent Rider SHFs. Only first two have a solid chance of being a retail release. Tertiary Riders straddle between retail and exclusive, though with it leans heavily towards the latter. Snipe and Woz are like, the only tertiary Riders that I can think of that had gotten a retail release in recent times.


No, there isn't. We've had plenty of belts/transformation devices be P-Bandai exclusives before, be they used by male characters or female characters.

I can't think of any time recently that the Tertiary Rider, who seems to actually transform more than the secondary, has their belt not be retail though. It seems odd

They designed most of the toys and the way they would be supported in advance. Sakura's belt was designed with no further upgrades in mind they could sell.

Evil/Live had additional items they could sell for their Driver planned. Does it make sense from the focus given in the show? Not really. But it ultimately just comes down to selling toys, as always.
