This show clearly doesn't have enough Kamen Riders, quick, make the dying old man one too!
The episode was fine, jokes aside. I liked the fact that several parties are turning desperate as they run out of time. Maybe my favorite little scene was Akaishi trying to show tenderness to Daiji and just totally falling flat, as he awkwardly stroked him on the head like a child would pet a dog. I feel like not all that much actually happened this episode though? It was a lot of reiterating what we already knew. |

Normal episode. I liked the air fight, how Hiromi saved the child (rider armor is not necessary to be a hero), the conversation between Sakura and Hikaru. But yes, there are a lot of repetitions and stretching of the timing is felt. And also some strange desire to make as many riders as possible just before the final. I also want to note that for me Ikki does not feel like the main character at all. He is without a doubt the strongest Rider in the show, but I wouldn't call him the center of the show.

Sometimes, Vice really reminds me of Aruto Hiden in some aspects. |
And there went the chances Akaishi had of becoming a more interesting villain...
Anyway, I feel like I don't have too much to say about this episode. There were some nice scenes like with Hikaru and Sakura, or Hiromi still being a hero (but my gosh the Demons Troopers look kind of cheap, but that is to be expected in a way), but overall, it was okay. Vail is basically the Guts Seijin from Ultraman Ginga S, Gif just sort of throws a tantrum, and Daiji being... well NOT daijobu (Hai! Arujaaaaaaa-naito!). Next Episode: New Show: Kamen Rider Dads! |
