I think there is still a chance given the shortened season. They can change costumes in the next one, gaining a few extra members along the way. |
I still think the suits are okay, however I feel like they could've used a secondary color other than just the silver and gold in the armor, i.e like how Aiyon has navy for his arms.
The lack of a key focal point on the suit doesn't necessarily bother me, but now that people have pointed it out, it is very noticeable. Still feel that the legs are a little too barren, but that's probably fine. |
Gonna be a free-for-all regarding how these suits will mesh with Kyuranger elements.
I feel as though we're being played! They say one thing and release artist/digital renderings, but every time that happens the reality will be completely different regardless of the franchise. The Kyuranger Voyagers don't match the new suits and doing another MMPR "Zyuranger Suits Piloting Dairanger Kidenju AND Kakuranger Chouninju" is setting oneself up for failure! The only Kyuranger Voyagers which really kind of match (but not really) are Ryu Voyager, Tenbin Voyager, and Hebitsukai Voyager, with Houou Voyager and the Battle Orion Ship rounding it out. This would basically mean that Ryuteioh, Gigant Houou, and Orion Battler are THE Cosmic Fury Megazords! Unfortunately, Kyurenoh was already kinda teased in a video previously...unless that's one of the ways they're playing us! Make us think one thing, and then surprise us with something else. I do wonder if there are some new Cosmic Fury Zords that haven't been announced yet! That might help with the lack of symmetry between Cosmic Fury and Kyuranger. The 10 Episode Count thing is another reason that a Kyuranger thing is debatable here. It would severely curtail how many suits will appear, unless some of them appear in crowd scenes like the old days when suits were recycled and used to fill out instances when a lot of monsters and villains and extraterrestrials were needed. If Zedd is going to be the main villain, that also curtails how many Kyuranger Villains will appear. Another trope of the old days was to make a major Sentai villain a random super strong monster in Power Rangers! That should probably be expected here. In addition, Zedd may be the main villain of Cosmic Fury, but it would be odd for him NOT to appear in Once & Always! That may be the key... Cosmic Fury as well as Once & Always are two sides of the same Power Coin! Zedd will likely appear in both, and it's possible that Cosmic Fury will have some kind of role to play, but severely reduced from their own episodes so as to give the Legacy Rangers more screen time and focus. I also think that some leftover Kyuranger Villains may appear in Once & Always for aforementioned reasons, but they'll play second fiddle to the Legacy Monsters. Since Goodson is signed on to voice Rita again, this opens the door for more of the Classics. |
The details are really nice, but the barren stretches of plain color fabric on the suits look so...boring. Like they stopped the creative process have way through suit development.

Bahahaha... they gave them fake abs and pecs!?!? And boob cups for the girls??? Oh lord, what a terrible, terrible mistake.
Oh, yeah, I'm confident now that Hasbro is gonna fuck up the new reboot. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FmskuS8X...jpg&name=large |

Zayto's new form is christened "Zenith Cosmic Fury Ranger"!

Yikes. These suits don't look good at all. Maybe they're better in action.

I don't care about Power Rangers, but the idea of a female Red Ranger is cool though.
