The problem with Hasbro is that doesn't have resources to make similar visual/special effects from such japanese companies like Toei/Tsubaraya and doesn't have any acknowledge about the Sentai mechas/robots designs either.

Is there anyone here who’d vote for King Ohger? It’s got potential. I have the Nouto go to those guys…. Or the Nouto can go to Cosmic Fury.

I could see a LuPat adaptation making for a great prequel/tie-in to SPD if they decided to go for it. But unfortunately, Simon Bennett seems to have other plans.

Every Sentai has potential for adaptation. It comes down to what direction they want to go to, and ultimately the time and resources allowed to make it

LuPat probably has the lowest chance of happening. While both Saban and Hasbro were weary of ToQ because of trains' lack of popularity overseas, today's current political climate about police as well as framing the thieves as heroes probably isn't something they'd want to tackle just for an action show.

But how to make Zyuohger compatible as Power Rangers? What are stuff that need to be changed & added? Same with a title. I see Zyuoh TheWorld as Asperger's Syndrome.

That implies they wouldn't just change everything about The World. If they don't want to tackle his awkwardness in show, they would just choose to write those portions out (And not include the scenes where he sulks in costume).

It looks like Cosmic Fury is basing it after Cosmic Fury, but better. Hopefully.

Good thing I don't take a lot of stock in the words of an EP. I'd like to think a lot of people are starting to question them.

Bennett and every other ninny can say "doing it this way from now on" or "moving in a different direction". The main thing will always be the bottom line.

Public, business-based interviews never completely reveal EVERYTHING someone is thinking. It also never truly reveals what's happening in and around one person's comments.

If Cosmic Fury works on a tenable financial level and yields both positive reviews and clear financial returns, then Bennett's remarks and intentions might have a degree of merit and set the tone for more originality.

If Cosmic Fury fails, then "Part 2" will have to undergo serious reevaluation and a possible course correction.

I say "Part 2" cause there's an obvious gap or ringer. 10 episodes based off of Kyuranger with an obvious thematic violation via dinosaurs!? Something's not right here! My gut feeling is that we aren't being told everything.

All Hasbro has to do with their great gamble is drop the ball. Given their lofty statements back when they bought this franchise that have failed to truly materialize, CF might be the make-or-break moment.

The homepage here did an April Fool's joke about DreamWorks buying the franchise from Hasbro. There's no immediate validity to such outlandishness, but it does make one think.

Three Options:

- Cosmic Fury and any potential "Part 2" work and the franchise attempts more originality and divorces from Sentai for the foreseeable future.

- Cosmic Fury fails and "Part 2" is either reworked or scrubbed entirely and adaptations are back on the table with Bennett swallowing his pride and admitting the reality.

- Cosmic Fury fails and the franchise goes back on the market with some potential buyers considering originality on their terms and others thinking about straight-up adaptation.
