Why would they use the word henshin when it's completely nonsensical in the English language? Remember these shows really are aimed at kids.

Henshin would just be nonsensical. |
all i have to say is henshin seems a little short for all the motions of a gokai cahnge
|
Maybe it will be, "Mega Force Ranger Change."
|
"Yo Ho Ho, Power Rangers!"
|
You're all stupid! (You're not. I love you guys. I just ran out of logical arguements :lol)

Yo ho ho Pirate rangers! Yo ho ho, combine the zords, yo ho ho its the jolly Roger megazord!

All of these brilliant ideas mean nothing unless Megaforce Red has a peg leg to go with it all :D

ZRV, say the word and ill jump the actor in the alley, cut.off his leg and attach a peg leg in its place.

What bothers me is that with only 13 or so episodes, the team changing will be next to nonexistent. Out of the 20 or so teams, which ones do you choose to highlight in an episode. Its still our anniversary and every team should be highlighted at least once
|
Teams to get highlight episodes (just a feeling):
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Power Rangers Zeo - Power Rangers In Space - Power Rangers Time Force - Power Rangers Ninja Storm - Power Rangers Dino Thunder - Power Rangers SPD - Power Rangers RPM - Power Rangers Samurai All those series either had multi-part or decent footage to utilize. |

That's just it...will it just be the teams with mecha for jolly roger? I'm still Hoping they somehow extend the gokaiger portion out somehow
|
Or they could extend the Goseiger part out. Say, by the entire season :D

-The Legend War. Before anyone starts, what we saw at Power Morphicon is, to my assumption, simply placeholder footage from the Sentai version of the Legend War. Toei is reshooting this as we speak so that only Power Ranger teams are included, and that the 15 pre-Zyuranger teams (including Dairanger minus Kibaranger) will be removed. However, this brings up some problems regarding some Power Rangers that wore more than one suit as Kickback has described in another thread. While his ideas can fix the first few teams of Rangers, there's still the problem with Tommy and his five Ranger powers, four if TJ decides to be the Red Turbo Ranger again, but that's another problem altogether, since he's also the Blue Space Ranger. Speaking of which, there's also the problem of the Turbo and Space Rangers, since four of the five Turbo Rangers became the Space Rangers, and that itself will also need to be fixed. Then again, there was an episode in Turbo where there were robot duplicates of the Turbo Rangers, so I guess that's solved. However, if Saban decides to keep in the pre-Zyuranger teams (as well as Dairanger), it's going to be hard as hell to explain where they all came from, though I'm sure many of you will probably say they're teams of Rangers from around the world, other planets, different time periods, different dimensions, etc. -The return of previous Rangers. Gokaiger utilized this concept and brought back only one hero per Sentai series (though some episodes included two or more returning heroes), and if Saban goes ahead and adapts Gokaiger, then it's possible we'll see previous Rangers return in the near future. However, from what I've read, it seems as though not a lot of actors who played Power Rangers are willing to return, which could be a problem. Naturally, the solution would be to just have one actor return and reprise his/her role as a Ranger from their respective series. That could work, but what if none of the Ranger actors from a certain series didn't want to come back? My idea: supporting characters. Characters like Dr. K, Captain Mitchell, Miss Fairweather, Circuit, Alpha 5, Alpha 6, and others could be used to represent their respective shows instead, should none of the actors who played Power Rangers are willing to return. -The Gokaiger suits. Since Gokaiger will be season 2 of Mega Force, many have speculated on how the Gokaiger suits will be used, or if they will be even used at all. Ideally, I'd have the Gokaiger suits not be used at all, and have the Mega Force Rangers use Ranger Cards instead of Ranger Keys to become previous teams of Power Rangers. However, doing something like this would mean that Saban would have to make new footage just for the new transformations and the fight scenes, should the 15 pre-Zyuranger teams be cut out from the show. There's also the matter of RoboKnight and Gokai Silver over who should be the sixth Ranger of season 2. TBH, I'd rather have RoboKnight stay, because Gokai Silver would look out of place with the Mega Force suits. Then again, I need to remember that the Mighty Morphin' White Ranger was from a different Sentai series than Zyuranger, yet that suit fit in well with the Zyuranger suits in Mighty Morphin' seasons 2 and 3, so who knows. On the other hand, should the Gokaiger suits be used, Saban would either make the suits a "powered-up form" for the Mega Force Rangers or have them be like the Alien Rangers from season 3 as "that other team of Power Rangers". -The Zangyack Empire. Simple: Have them be the Warstar Aliens' big army that they can use as a trump card/last resort against the Mega Force Rangers, which can lead into season 2. -Gokaioh and the Gokaigers' Zords. This is a tougher nut to crack, but I have a rough theory as to how Gokaioh and the "Grand Power" Zords will be implemented into season 2. Let's say that Saban does make the Gokaiger suits their own team, and make them like the Alien Rangers. The two Ranger teams fight at first, but eventually join forces and save the day. The Gokaiger team leaves, but not before giving the Mega Force Rangers the Galleon Zord and the other four Zords that make up Gokaioh (since the Mega Force Rangers' Zords are either broken beyond repair or destroyed). They tell them that the Grand Powers of previous teams of Power Rangers will give their Megazord new abilities and weapons in the fight against evil, but they have to find the Grand Powers first in order to do so. Then there will be footage of a cockpit set of the new Megazord, with the Mega Force Rangers piloting it, just like the Mighty Morphin' team did in seasons 2 and 3 as well as the Samurai Rangers. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how Gokai Silver's Zord will fit into this, if Gokai Silver will be adapted at all or if RoboKnight takes custody of the Zord. That's all I've got. |
I'd have quoted that but one novel is enough (:lol)
I agree with almost everything you said there, Eric. But only with a few minor tweaks to some of the general ideas. -Warstar into Zangyack - I posted earlier in one of these threads that Zangyack could be the bosses of the Warstar. The Warstar would be kind of an advanced fleet. Similar to how Goku as a bay was sent to take over Earth? They sent an advanced force thinking that'd be enough to handle one pitiful world. -Gosei Knight into Gokai Silver - Part of me holds out hope that Gosie Knight is destroyed somehow (:cry), and is replaced by a whole new person. JDF. Come on Jason, I believe in you! Suits - I do like the idea of keeping the Gosei suits throughout the whole series. And then introducing the Gokai Silver like they did Kibaranger. Gosei Knight - I know what I said above. But if he kicks as much ass as he did in Goseiger than please have him stay the whole season! But you're right. Saban painted themselves into a corner, and now have to blow their brains out over the logistics. But that idea about having the Pre-Zyu rangers being rangers from other planets/time-periods/countries? The Series-Finale of Masked Rider says Hi. Look how wonderful that worked. |
I'd only be down for JDF as Gokai Silver on the condition that almost every bit of Silver footage was refilmed. His out of character bursts in season 2 were bad enough, him spinning and swooning like a crazed fanboy would be even worse.

Silver Ranger is bothering me. I love Gai, I do. But a character like that would never work in America. Makes me sad but there it is. So what do they do? What's to be done? Gosei Knight... I'm sorry... -through his clenched teeth- RoboKnight.. might become a Silver Ranger in the second half. .. Honestly, I still wish we'd get a full season of Gokai and a full season of Gosei. It's like Saban intentionally wanted to ram a potato sized problem up his butt.

With a name like freaking ROBOknight, I find it hard to imagine he and Gokai Silver are goimy to share a human identity. Plus Roboknight is supposedly in Megaforce from the start, which makes me assume if he was going to have a human identity his actor would have been revealed with the rest. |

well apprenetly there was casting for the 6th ranger but no one knows if he going to be roboknight or be the 6th ranger using the gokai silver costume

What if they just threw the Pinocchio story on Roboknight...have him finally become a real boy! Hence new emotions would allow the excess of...enthusiasm...plus Gold Mode could be Robo mode per say...
