Hellhound and Minotaurus did have human forms, they were the Talk show host and Rinko's partner

But... Cat Sith/Scythe was in his human form freely-ish. In a way I saw as similar too Phoenix and Medusa(I doubt there's a bunch of people in the various abandoned office complexes and other hideouts).

Actually, I think he's just lazy compared to Minotaurus and Hellhound. Unlike him, they kept in close quarters with people (Minotaurus with the police squad, Hellhound with the other people in the studio/on his talk show) looking for potential Gates. Caitsìth (actual spelling of the Phantom's name, but subbers seem to prefer using the name of the fairy tale of Celtic Mythology that it's based off of) just seemed more interested in resting in the human world. Medusa pushed/threatened/scared him to start Gate-hunting.

But... I want to believe... ;_;

I can actually see where you're coming from. CaitSith has much more personality than the previous two, and he does spend a good amount of time in human form.

I want Cat Sith to stick around. He's fun to watch...

It was a good episode, I love Water and Fire's themes. I wonder what Koyomi truly is, but I'm sure we'll find out in the next episode. The cat guy was interesting too, the suit actor did a good job of capturing his character, as did the suit actor for Wizard. Water's powers are neat too, I might actually pick up the figuarts for all his forms.

What basis do you figure this? Being the main villain don't mean sh*t to Bandai.
In all likelihood, Phoenix would probably get made first.

The thing is, Medusa, at least for now, seems hardly a big villain. In my opinion, Phoenix is more memorable as a character, plus has a cooler design.

I'm already figuring that the'll be a "Man behind the man" sort of thing, where she'll either die or a stronger Phantom will appear and take the role as primary antagonist.

I'm guessing it on the basis that Medusa seems to be the primary villain in the early part of the show, like Scorpion was in Fourze. And Scorpion was made first in that case. But I'm not trying to argue the point. Just a stab in the dark.

The way they've depicted them, Phoenix is kind of a toady. Has he even fought anyone yet?

No, but we're only on the 4th episode so I'm sure we'll see him fight eventually

Nope, Medusa reminds me of her also. I think it's the lower face/lips.

The first two episodes didn't appeal to me very much but episodes 3 and 4 were pretty good. I think I might be into this show now. Cat Sith ruled.

Right? I think its the same suit but with some changes. I also thought Hellhound kinda looked like Rio from Gekiranger with the faceplate.

I actually thought Hellhound looked like Glenfire from Ultraman Zero.

Like I said in an earlier episode discussion, he's Hibiki and Rio's fiery love-child :lol
