All the mechs would be "inspired by" classic Kaiju monsters:

Red - Rodan
Blue - Manda
Green - Gamera
Yellow - Anguirus
Pink - Mothra

Their combined form is... MechaGojira!(or a non-copyright-infringing variation thereof)

I think it would be better if the mechs were more like MegaVoyager from Megaranger, where the "central" mech is just a humanoid robot that doesn't have another singular mode(what would an oni mech turn into anyway?). Though, instead of Momoranger(since that's both too specific and already taken), maybe they could be "Timeman" or "Miraiger".
Their names could be something like:
Momo1
Ura2
Kin3
Ryu4
Seig5
And the sixth hero could be Zeroman and his mecha would be both ZeroBull and ZeroFalcon and they would combine into the ZeroRobo("Zero-Oh" sounds ridiculous).
And Teddy could be... something. Hell EVE and Negataros could get in on this for all I care. :p

Mechs: DenOni, DenTurtle, DenBear, DenDragon, and DenSwan. All of which can turn into Train cars, and connect together to from the MomoDenLiner, they can also combine to form the robot, MomoDen-Oh!

Weapons: CoffeeGashers, Coffee Cups that can turn into different weapons for each Ranger.(Sword for MomoRed, Rod for MomoBlue, etc.)

Mech: ZeroBull, can turn into a train, has two Train cars, main compartment turns into a bull, all three can combine into Vega-Oh!
Weapon: CandyGasher, a piece of Deneb candy that can turn into a gun.

Mech: StrikeOni, can turn into a train, aswell as the final mech, Strike-Oh!
Weapon: MachGasher, a sword with a counter on it.

Vega-Oh and MomoDen-Oh can combine to form VegaDen-Oh, and Strike-Oh can combine with VegaDen-Oh to form StrikeDen-Oh!

Haha true, I still think a monsters theme would be awesome. Have the Sentai mechs be monsters and the villains be vehicle mechs.

What about EVE and Negataros? Yeah they're villains, but they still deserve something...
That said, I like how the mechs can be both an animal, and a train car(though the engineering for that would get insane, especially for DenDragon. PLEX/Bandai/Toei had a hard enough time making two train cars turn into a dragon, it'll take magic to make it just one.

I don't know about having an aircraft carrier on the main team. Aircraft carriers are really big, the kind of thing that would be suited more towards, well, a carrier type character like King Bracion/Titanus. I'm still game for Green/Black having some sort of Naval vehicle, though.
