Not helped by the fact that they lost for like 10 episodes straight against Dynasmon and Crusadermon... Frontier was fine early on, once you get past the humans becoming Digimon thing, but the end of it really dropped the ball. Thank god the other kids got to merge with Takuya and Koji into Susanoomon. Also, I think Lowemon (Purified spirit of Darkness) was only used twice before it got delegated to MagnaGarurumon. That was BS. |

The designs were cool (I'm rallying behind the Frontier designs for some D-Arts), but I just hated seeing my favorite characters literally spending episodes doing nothing but having reaction shots to the fights.
As for the series proper, I did warm up to the humans becoming Digimon thing, but I never felt that previous series had humans relying on Digimon. A second viewing of Tamers earlier this year showed me that the relationship is more symbiotic than just "Digimon protects human, human helps them evolve." |

I also enjoy all the things on your list. But then again, I enjoy almost everything.
As for the whole Digimon thing, I like all of it. Even the tail end of Xros Wars. Although I wish they did more with it. I do like how it connected to the first half though. As for my favorite season. It has to be Savers(NOT Data Squad. The dub was terrible.) I loved the story/plot as well as the characters and music. The way the bad guy just always pissed me off was great. |
Goodness, it seems I missed out a lot by having never watched Digimon. :o It was only recently that I learned about its excellent reputation among adult fans.
There was always this stereotype that pitted Pokémon fans against Digimon, but it seems that fans here like both equally. |
Watch Adventure for a fun, whimsical series or Tamers (3) for a more serious, story driven series.

I can add something to mine too: Plain Sugar Donuts. Unlike Haruto, I pretty much get one every day besides once a week. And today was awesome! They had TWO in the store today (they usually only have one)

OK I love HALO (the extended fiction more than the games) Battlefield, Transformers, Power rangers, Cubix robots for everyone, Zombies, Half life, Knight rider, herbie the love bug, kamen rider, super sentai, bionicle....ya that's about it.

I love:
-My girlfriend. No explanation necessary. -Photography. Ranges from a calm pastime to a hectic rush, but it's always a great way to artistically express emotions, and create memories. -Kamen Rider. I love my superheroes, and they're a pretty big reason as to why I'm on this site. -My toys. Ibid. -Cold, rainy days. There's something magical about them. -Nice clothes. Sweaters, scarves, coats, watches, what have you. I like to appear presentable. -Science, particularly physics and chemistry. I assign a lot of importance to understanding the world we live in. -My friends. Out of the few I have, there isn't one who I wouldn't take a hit for. I really do love those fellows. -Baking. Not too good at it, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. I haven't expanded much further than cupcakes and tarts when it comes to baking from scratch. -Synth and Electroswing music. Unique and fun. -My life. For all the reasons above. I've only got one shot at this, so I ought to make it the best time possible for myself and those around me. |

I like: Vocaloid, most importantly Megurine Luka Kamen rider and super sentai, especially GoGo V/Lightspeed Rescue Almost everything Gainax makes Luka Clannad and all the key visual novels turned into anime Transformers Macross Luka Anime in general going to conventions my friends and family and last but not least Luka :lol |
Let's see. I like:
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This one is important, because it helped bring me out of a soul crushing depression. That and it's awesome~ Kamen Rider. I love all series. I'll even extend some love to Decade's series (Not the character, mind you. The show) because of some cool scenes. Kamen Rider OOO. Gets listed separately because it's my favorite Rider series :D Power Rangers. I haven't seen much of Samurai, but that aside, all the shows were neat. Jyuuken Sentai Gekiranger. I wanted to say I love Sentai as a whole, but nah. Only Gekiranger. Transformers. Because they're neat. Godzilla. Before anime, before bugmen, before giant robots, my first experience with Japanese cinema was Godzilla. Pokemon. ALL GENS. Traditional Comic heroes. ^^ |
I might as well get in on this now then. I like...
- My girlfriend, least of all because she shares my love for toy collecting. - Doctor Who, particularly Daleks. I have we'll over 100 and still see no signs of stopping. - Review writing, to the point it's partly what I want to do for a career. - Super Sentai, particularly Gokai, Magi and Deka. - Power Rangers, especially Zeo. - Kamen Rider. I'm still quite new to it but my faves so far are W and Fourze. - Anime. Gurren Lagann being my favourite. - Godzilla and Gamera - Comics, DC's Birds of Prey being my favourite. - Pokemon - 70s and 80s rock music That'll do for now :D |
