It would be a stretch to go TOO far back, but nothing says it couldn't be done, and nothing says it would have to be approached in the same manner. what would be "interesting" if maybe a bit dark, is if they introduce the concept that when a Ranger passes on Thier Key returns to the gokaigers, but then the final episode kinda tosses that out.

Man, this series started with a bang, and ended in a bang.

That part was awesome,kinda like handing over the torch without a huge episode.Just 3 seconds makes you think,man the busters have alot to live up to.lol

The Busters really do have alot to live up to. But im more concerned that Beat Buster and Stag Buster have alot to live up to. Gai tops the list of awesome 6th/extra rangers :lol

I just watched the finale for a second time and oh my damn its still impressive and heart stopping to watch. The final Super Ranger Gokai Change really conveys the indescribable (with words at least) epicness that was this series. Can't wait to see where these characters go in the inevitable and awesome V-Cinemas that will come down the line.

You've been told this before on MANY other forums. You get a program called PS3 media server, you install it, you use it. Or you get the MP4 soft subs from OT.

I think it would be easier if you just go with the MP4 files rather than the MKV files, I just don't think MKV is that widely supported yet, and the quality on the MP4 ones are pretty good

let me say this to start, i have watched the finale twice. Both times i had manly tears.... First time ANY Sentai has done this to me, i loved the main gokaigers as well as basco, the fact that they wanted to be pirates at the beginning and cared about the earth only for the greatest treasure in the universe, and then accepted their role as the 35th super sentai really gave me a sense of just how much they loved the earth.

The actors were amazing, the writing was iffy at times, the majority of the villains sucked, but the GOKAIGERS stood out, they were passionate about their quest, and sure they met at least 1 person from each previous sentai, but they never felt like forced appearences. would have been nice if some of the earlier tributes didnt end up being bad (im looking at you gekiranger)

All in all, Gokaiger is my number 1 sentai now. as it stands now (not like anyone will care) my top 5 sentai are

1.Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
2.Mahou Sentai Magiranger
3.Go Go Sentai Boukenger
4.Samurai Sentai Shinkenger
5.Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger

Still have not watched dekaranger past episode 27 i dont like the series but i may give it a shot still.....

Go-Busters Have Some GIANT SHOES to fill

1. I was told this for the first time 2 days ago by one person.
2. How is downloading something on my computer going to make it play on my PS3.
3. Is this the program that lets you connect your PS3 to your computer's files? If so, I already have it and it still does not play OT's files.
4. If they are that complicated to play, they should not be used.
5. Panasonic advertised their players play MKV, it is on the box, so there is no reason why they should not play when it says it plays MKV.

Over-Time does not offer MP4 ones. If they did, I would have gone for those easily.

I watched it whilst angry about something else... had I not been churning with anger, I may well have teared up. Obviously I only have the capability to display one emotion at a time. :)

3. Yeah it does. I use it, a friend I have uses it, half the people in an irc channel I hang out in use it. All use it with OT's releases. All got it working.
4.MKV are not complicated. There is nothing hard about playing a video file.

OT does offer MP4. Their MP4 hard subs are near HD quality even though they are SD.

I never check the SD downloads, so I did not know they had MP4 versions. But why would they do SD in MP4 and HD only in MKV?

Okay, so yeah, I was not wrong, I have the PS3 Media Server already on my computer. But when I go into videos on my PS3, none of my Sentai folders show up. The only things that show up are some music files even though I am under videos and that is it.

I really hope Go-Busters at least try to do as well as Gokaiger did. As everyone else has said, the 36th Super Sentai series has BIG shoes to fill.

Be careful, setting expectations that high will surely make one disappointed. Gokaiger has big shoes, but those aren't the shoes Go-Busters is trying to fill, it seems to be an entirely different beast :).

I am almost worried for the reception next week. :(

Darkhhen, thanks for the heads up about the SDs being in MP4 format. I was able to watch the final episode flawlessly. And yes, the quality was not bad. Certainly no where near Nihon's horrifically encoded SDs. I just wish the MKVs would work for me so I can watch them first in HD instead of waiting for Nihon's HD versions.

With that said, wow, just wow. That has got to be one of the best Sentai endings I have ever seen. The final battle was just epic, and they did not use a mech to defeat the emperor. That is amazing. I am impressed that Toei did not drop the ball at all. I mean, even though Aba and Geki had some good endings, but this puts them to shame. In fact, based on the endings for the series chronologically, I have to say this is the best ending since CarRanger. That was just all kinds of awesome. Toei has a lot to live up to with Gobusters, so they better show they can do two good Sentai series in a row again as it has been 10 years since they pulled that off. Nevertheless, I cannot wait until the vs movie comes out.

I'll be there to check it out, I mean, Go-Buster Ace has glasses on, last time I saw a show with giant robots with glasses on (Gurren Laagan), it rocked :D

Sorry, but it is impossible to go into the next show with low expectations. It is what majorly ruined Go-Onger, and while Shinkenger was not the greatest show, it is one of the things that showed how bad the Goseiger cast was.

King Ranger was in this episode. That's all that really matters. Granted, he needs his own entire show.

It was a very good last fight and a nice last episode =] I love the constant gokai change fights as they have always been highlights of the series, after the series mid point though they happened less frequently. So it was nice to see it back and with a bang =] Overall good episode and a good series, wouldn't rank it any better or worse then Goseiger though =]

Finished the show up tonight. While it wasn't the best of the best it was a solid series overall.

I only agree halfway on the villians. Damarus and Basco stole the show for the villians.

I do have to say I wished they had brought in some more Sentai villians from the past. The Evorian armor would have been a great villian, having someone from Gorma would have been great, and maybe having like a demon from the Saima Clan appear or someone from Baranoia would have been awesome.

Bosco easily stole the show. He seemed to be the only villain that knew what he was doing.

To me Basco came across has your typical One Dimensional villian who was grossly over powered. There was loads of potential with this character but they didn't utilize it. Damarus also had alot of potential but again was misused.

So he is like Shadow Moon in Black? :p
