Jason David Frank and Catherine Sullivan wanted out. The producers just figured it would make sense to get rid of all the old Rangers then and try to revitalize the show with some new blood. Thankfully, it worked.

The only thing of value lost was Adam.

I guess... I also hate Dimitri and Alpha Jive. And the movie. And the fact there's no reason why they stopped using the Zeo Powers (In Universe)
. I get why they would want out though. It just bugs me.

Linkara points out that the Zeo powers are constantly growing and getting stronger.
While there is no real explanation in series for why they stopped using them, it can be pretty easily assessed that, regardless of how experienced the rangers get, the Zeo powers would just shadow them in power and become too strong to actually use.

oh man, just Rob would've made NS better :p since they had to have a friggin sport with each ranger, but I think one of the producers was a fan of motocross, I mean we had the yellow ranger, and the thunder guys, either that or they were lazy :lol
