The whole Gentaro = Stronger and Nadeshiko = Tackle worked fine for me. Plus, the suit is simpler and clean-looking.

Going with Femme, primarily because Kivala just wasn't interesting (Though I'll admit her design is pretty good, but that's because I really enjoyed Kiva's designs and aethestics), and I've already made it known that I did not like Nadeshiko. At all.

Actually, Double's poor CGI in it's early episodes, early Akiko, Philip's eccentrics (For some), and Shotaro's lack of detective work (Early on, most of the cases are entirely solved by Philip, rather than Philip just confirming Shotaro's initial thoughts) does make it kind of hard to get hooked immediately (Hell, I dropped Double at episode 10 for half a year before picking it back up).

You go into the show and the first thing you see is a guy in a tube, a flying tiki witch of death, and the manliest of men get shot in the back by three bullets, a dork in shorts receiving The Man's torn white fedora of manliness, then have the two hide behind a stairwell, epically insert USB DRIVES INTO A BELT THAT LOOKS LIKE A TOY, triggering an explosion, and then a guy with glowing red insect-eyes standing in the midst of it, before you cut to one of the greatest opening themes in the history of awesome, epic, hard-boiled, and cookies. %$#@ING COOKIES.

How are you not hooked, especially when later on you see a volcano-man and a WALKING T-REX HEAD? Granted, I never really liked Akiko, and the CGI was sub-par, but look at everything I listed above. THIS IS ONLY THE OPENING SCENE. It doesn't even BEGIN to scratch the surface of W. Besides, you can't spell WIN without W.

You're including information you know later on (Notably, ANYTHING about Soukichi. New viewers will know nothing of this man other than he died). What we see is monster shooting blasts, a guy in a white hat get killed and give his hat to some other guy, an explosion, and a transformation.
You have to remain impartial. It was a cool opening, but only served to introduce Shotaro and Philip. I found Anything Goes to be a much better theme than WBX, and the rest of the episode is just par for the course.

It's Kamen Rider. And T-Rex's and Magma's designs weren't anything special to me.

Like I said, that opening was good, but you're giving it way too much credit.
