For the Rider side Yuki from Fourze. I know she has polarized the fans, but hear me out. She's hyperactive and overly fond of space, but her heart is in the right place. She helped the KRC out and was the heart of the team, so to speak.

Switchblade's gonna murder me for saying this, but she was as much a part of Fourze as Gen himself, seeing as she was the one to teach him the basics of the Fourze Driver.

Anyone else like Evil Twin Yuuki better than regular bubbly Yuuki?

I actually hated Yuuki at first. Doesn't help that she was as bad as the Samurai actors during the start of the series.
Though, I did grow to like her, but then her actions just kept getting more and more..."Out there" as the series progressed, and I started disliking her again.

Nope. I hated Gemini and Evil Yuuki. It seemed like a cop out, rather than have Yuuki actually, you know, do something and press the switch, all they had to do was force her to press it and she just happened to get the switch that would summon an evil clone of her.
I liked Fourze, but that story arc pissed me off.

Really? Maybe I'm jus a big Fourze Fanboy. Nothing really annoyed me on the show. I was a little bothered about the touchy feely way he came back to life after Ryuusei FiveFingerDeathPunched his chest, but that was about it. I liked Libra, Leo, Virgo. Never saw the Virgo plottwist coming, I can tell you that. Or Tachibanana. Fourze is one of those series' I wish could have a second season.

I think Shotaro from W is my favorite character.
He is always trying so hard to be hard boiled and badass like Sokichi Narumi, and even though everyone keeps telling him that he'll never be that cool, he tries.

plus, he's unflinching in his efforts to protect Phillip and fight the Dopants, even in cases where he is clearly out matched.

I liked that arc, if only for the fact that it reminded me so much of a Persona game.

I disliked the Gemini arc because of all the dropped story potential. Aquarius essentially got what I wished Yuuki got. A Horoscope that isn't just "Kill kill evil evil", someone attempting to do good but succumbing to evil. If Yuuki had gotten that, it would've been a lot deeper and the resolution a lot more emotional.
And I'm not asking for a rehash of the Aquarius story arc. Just something more than "Gamou's marrying the evil twin. lolk."

Loved the Virgo plot, loved Tachibana, loved Libra (Though his random fanatic obsession towards Gamou at the end did come out of nowhere. Would've preferred if he kept his remorseful ways. He and Leo got no form of redemption, which sucks).

Momotaros! A fine line is drawn between rebel bad ass and comic relief with him. Not too many fictional characters get to be both. The charm of a monster that looks like Satan that turns into a super hero and fights other monsters never gets old to me. I can also relate to being short tempered and being called an idiot by my peers like him.

Kisaragi Gentaro because Fourze is awesome!

I'll go with Gai Yuki/Black Condor from Jetman, because not only is an everlasting fountain of cool, not only did he gut-punch Ryu whenever Ryu needed to have his brain rebooted (or just needed to be punched, really) but because he's so cool he gets heavenly hall passes from God hi--uh, Herself due to being awesome at poker. :)

I'll say Ban From DekaRanger he was a new memeber to the earth squad and i just loved him for how he acted and well then he would all ways win and how he went from earth team to a hire elit team was awesome to his character as well.

Otoya Kurenai! He was such a fun Rider; his story iis in large part what made Kiva so enjoyable for me. Now he might have been a bit of a chauvinist... but I think that can be forgiven for how valiantly he fought as IXA. And of course making the ultimate sacrifice to ensure a future for his friends and the son he had just met... but would never get to raise. :(

But yeah. Otoya was an interesting character who always ended up doing the right thing.

My favorite character from Super Sentai is probably Shurikenger. I will admit, I do prefer the story arch that they presented for him in Ninja Storm then it was in Hurricanger, but I jusrt love the guy. I love how he talks with the broken English (he got me calling everybody baby), and it's represented well by how comedic he can be.

As I mentioned previously, I didn't like his story arch that much in Hurricanger. I loved how he would constantly disguise himself, but I never really liked that we never did see his true face. But I do like the back story they gave. It's something that PR/SS hint at, but never really explore. And that's having to give away your identity to become a hero. And I can really dig that.

I can't say much else other then he's my favorite ranger of all time, one of my favorite suit designs, and comes from one of my favorite Sentais of all time.

My favorite character (from the limited sentai and KR that I've watched) would have to be Gosei Black/Agri. I love the character, and his attitude.

Haruto comes in close second, along with J. I want to say J is my favorite, but I haven't caught up with Go- Busters in a while.

I don't want to sound elitist (Though I probably totally do), but it would've been an insult for a contest devised for the people who made Tokunation what it was to be won by someone who posted 3 times and disappeared. :S

I figured the contest would attract alot of new users. I'd hoped a bunch of them would stick around but I wasn't entirely sure they would. If we even got one new regular poster as a result of this then I'm happy.

Yeah, I'm still mulling it over to. I could easily say my favorite Rider, but if I was to win a prize, I'd probably have better luck with Sentai.

That's not elitist at all,its the truth.It's how most contests go though,especially when the prizes are that good.I think the only one Ive seen normally after that contest that won was pkmnmaster,but like den-o said if we got at least one new reg poster/visitor it was a success.

The other 2 winners have posted off and on for a while and joined well before the contest began. We saw a huge increase in membership from December 1st up though.

I would've loved for more members to join and become active (So I could preach my hatred of all things Decade again :lol).
Oh well. At least the winners were regular enough for me to recognize them...
