Why was it unbalanced?? I want to hear real reasons on why you think it was unbalanced. They called their named flipped in the air and transformed. What so unbalanced about that. It seems that you and all the other complainers people nit pick at it.

I like this guy. The ironic thing is Megaforce is becoming Goseiger: People hating just to hate it.

From the clips that I saw, they did have good acting. The deliver was good. I mean, they said what they needed to say with enough emotion and delivery. Its not Titanic.

Exactly. They're already better than Samurai, the actors actually give a damn about what they're doing. I love it.

I don't know what you guys saw but I thought it has potential, and the acting so far seems good. I am just a little tired of back flips but I can look past that.

I can see why some people are complaining, but I'm excited. I mean, from the looks of things, the series is leagues better than (Super) Samurai. The acting is decent, though the Morpher is strangely mute, and the pacing of the morph seems just a nanosecond too slow, but nothing too "Oh God, my eyes, they're bleeding; please make it stop!"

Well, we've seen the Rangers, but where's Leo Pope?

Hi, I just created an account to ask something. I'm looking everywhere and it seems that Power Rangers Megaforce won't be playing in canada. I looked on YTV and NickCanada and they only have PR Samurai. Anybody knows something about this???

well i wat i saw i loved it every moment of it. the people that say why there using Goseiger dic-o card think about the stock footage of goseiget they will be the same japanese card so don't stat complain about that as well due to the fact i need to stay in continuity. so if they used the action cards of Bandai and there morpher then see tensouder in the sentao stock footage what work well so them using both japanese props are better then any thing.

Didn't mind the morph at all, I thought it was excellently done. At any rate, I do like it better than the Samurai ones. The backflips seem to be a thing of Power Rangers adaptations, they remind me greatly of SPD and Dino Thunder.

I liked it. The sequence was pretty lengthy, but so was the one in Samurai and that wasn't used very often. The use of the Japanese cards was incredibly lazy, but unlike seeing "Zyuranger" in MMPR or "UAOH" in Zeo repeatedly I can explain it away in my head (for now at least) since the cards did come from a guy named Gosei.

As for the acting - so far they seem better than the Samurai cast and no worse than the average Power Rangers actor. That's good enough for me.

The "go go! *insert team name*" does kind of suck, and dang Saban...you must relly love the MMPR theme song. I was hoping for a new one myself.

I still stand by that this season will be wonderful. I'm just sad that the Gosei Morpher doesn't work like the toy we got.

illogical its more logical its easier er to keep filming continuity with stock footage by using the Dic-o Cards due to its cheap and easier, then editing every bit of sentai stock footage to make the cards look american.

I don't mind the Japanese cards beeing used too much. We have never had a toy that matched up 100% to the show models so that doesn't perturb me too much. Also we know that the mentor figure is called "Gosei" so seeing that on the cards makes a certain amount of sense.
But what is bugging me is the red ranger. He seems to be stuck on "distant and confused" (kinda like how I felt Kamen Rider Wing Knight was stuck on "angry and grouchy") and... I swear it looks like they either overdubed his voice, or just did really bad ADR work on it, because his voice doesn't seem to match up to his body at all.

Nothing about what I just watched, and continued watching over and over, sucked.

Is using the Japanese cards lazy? Yeah, kinda. It's obviously been done for cost though. The final bit, with the cards behind their heads, is stock footage from Goseiger. Sure they could make new scenes but its just quicker and cheaper. They'd have to do it for all of the Mech summons and finishers too. Might as well have some continuity instead of constantly switching from the American to Japanese versions.

It's kind of like Octoroo, how in Samurai the American footage version had a mouth and the Japanese footage version didn't. Cutting from one to the other is far more distracting then just sticking with one.

And! And.. using the japense cards is awesome.

Zeo: Now that I think about it, when I was a kid and saw OHM or whatever on the bottom of the launch bay.. I do remember being really confused about what that stood for.

I wasn't expecting Shakespeare nor a good Hollywood movie. I was expecting a kids show, but with decent acting.

Watching season 1 again after so many years, I'm seeing a lot of errors MMPR made. And I never noticed the "UAOH" in Zeo. I always thought that was an acronym for "United Alliance Of Heroes", since the Power Rangers are a group of superheroes after all. Plus, there was also Japanese writing for the giant microwave in that one episode of Turbo where the Power Rangers got baked into a giant pizza. *Hears Linkara screaming in the distance*

So yeah, I guess the Japanese writing on the cards could be hand-waved as "ancient text".

See, I always thought Octaroo's tentacles on his face obscured his beak-mouth thingy when they showed the Shinkenger footage. It makes sense when you think about it.

I don't know if any Canadian fans here can help, but as far as I know, the premier is currently going to be US exclusive. Also, the video you posted was in another of our threads, so there was already an active discussion there.

Whats there not to buy? Its a morph. It works. It makes sense. There is really nothing to it. Simple but effective morph.

It's a Morph. When has there ever been a scientific reason why their suits just appear in a ball of light? Stop over-analyzing the show, and just enjoy it for what it is.

ive noticed that it seems alot of opinions around here arent valid and an argument has to ensue. the japanese gosei cards are lazy in the American morph sequence (and i will stand by this). this isnt goseiger after all, its megaforce.
