I guess if I'm being honest, my first series was Saban's Masked Rider. But I choose not to recall that certain period in my life haha.

Oh, wow, Kuuga got REALLY good at the end, I thought. Once they stopped worrying so much about the boring people and their boring lives, and focused only on the cops and the Grongi, it was awesome. You should go finish it.

I will, I will, right now I'm watching Ryuki, I want to finish that, then go to Kabuto(I often start series and don't finish them :lol ), but after that I plan on finishing Kuuga!

My first watched Kamen Rider series was W, while my first finished series was Decade.

My first Kamen Rider show was Agito. I watched most of it on Youtube with really poor quality and at least three different sub groups. I still loved it. Finally re-watched it this year with my wife and I still love it.

My Begins Night, of sorts, started in early 2011 with OOO's first episode, but then I thought I should start at the beginning, and (only aware of the site and no others) watched TV-Nihon's subs of the first three episodes of Kuuga. Then I noticed the earliest series subbed in full was Ryuki. Ryuki makes for a good gateway-drug.

After that I started catching up with OOO, while watching Decade, then while watching W, then while watching Faiz, while inconsistently watching Kuuga and Den-O (I'm not even halfway through either of them.) Currently, I'm watching Fourze as it's aired, just finished Blade, and am starting to watch Den-O again.

And of course, I'd known about Kamen Rider ever since TJOmega's Dark Kabuto review, but at that point was still ignorant to ways to watch videos besides streaming.

EDIT: Wait, no, that's a lie, I'd seen a Dragon Knight promo on TV and had the obligatory "WTF Power Rangers?" reaction beforehand.

my first was Den-O and I really enjoyed that :) I've always been aware of the Kamen Rider franchise but never gave too much thought into actually watching any of it. But thanks to Chris (Vangelus) I dove into that rabbit hole and have been there since :p

Kamen Rider W was my first, been hooked from there.
Gone on to watch Kabuto, Decade, Kiva, Blade, OOO, I'm watching Faiz & Fourze now.
Tried to watch Hibiki, only made it 3 eps before giving up.

Double.

Still my favorite Rider series thus far.

My first series was Decade. I walked into the series knowing it was a cross-over of sorts and that the worlds would be BASED OFF OF the other series/worlds. As mentioned in another thread, Decade was a gateway series for me, which is the reason why I love Kamen Rider at all.

For me, it was Den-O. No idea why, just went for it. And that's still a tv series I strongly recommend...tv series...can't emphasis this bit enough. Tv series...there was nothing else, there is nothing else, there never will be anything else...after that it was Double, then I think I leaped back to Kuuga. And so on and so on.

Forgetting about Ore Tanjou? :p

If it counts........... Dragon Knight. I hadn't even seen any Sentai but I was listening to some toku podcasts and heard about this new American adaptation so I looked onn line and watched it all on the 4kids site

.............. other than that, I think Decade or Faiz but I oly watched a few of each the first finished was Kamen Rider BLACK! I love that show! So 80's

I tried to start with the oldest show I could find, which was Amazon.

Mole Beastman is the best.

The first one for me was a Tagalog dub of Kamen Rider BLACK. Then a couple of years later, I discovered untranslated episodes of the original Kamen Rider series.

Mine was Kiva. I had joined a PR board and wondered what this kamen Rider thing was... so I looked up what was the current running show and searched for it on youtube. I ended up with a RAW of the episode Wataru gets the Zanvat sword. I was very confused. I then went back and watched it from the beginning... still one of my favorites.

I'd watched a few episodes of a few random series, like Black and Ryuki... and I liked what I saw, but not enough to follow through with them.

Then I saw the Kabuto movie, God Speed Love Director's Cut, and that completely hooked me on Kabuto. I then went back and watched the entire Kabuto series. So I guess that was my first complete Rider series... and still probably my favorite.

My first show was kabuto. it was a combination of a friend recomending it hardcore to me and a certant "rider figuarts week"(so this was someware during doubles run?). kabuto was cool, so cool.

My 1st was Decade

Kabuto was my first, i marathon the whole show in one sitting and im glad i did that.

My first rider seies was Satria Baja Hitam, or as its better known to the world as Kamen Rider Black (dubbed in Malay).

I was 8-ish when I watched it so I didn't really get all of the story but found it cool regardless.

The Rider series I followed almost religiously was Kamen Rider Ryuki mainly for the Highlander-type plot and vicious murderous psycho Asakura Takeshi.

I just started getting into KR. I jumped into Decade, thinking I would pick up riders from there. That hasn't quite worked out as Decade led me right into W which than has pushed me right into OOO. I still intend to go back and pick up Den-O, Kiva, and some others I really liked from Decade sometime in the near future, though.

I first watched W. Shortly after I watched Ryuki.

My first series (which I just started in Dec) is W. I started down this path after Aaron sent me the Shinken Gold SH Figuarts figure, and I started looking at the rest of the line, which is mostly Rider stuff. I decided to finally check it out, after resisting for so long. Shadowbreaker recommended W, and now I'm hooked.

As far as Kamen Rider in general, my first exposures were bootleg videos I picked up at a convention many years ago of the Kamen Rider J and Zo movies. As far as my first full series it was Ryuuki. Since then I have seen every series since and have gone back to pick up Kuug, Agito, Amazon, V3, Black and Black RX. I am a total nut for Kamen Rider with Sentai a close second....

Not counting Masked Rider.
It was Faiz.

I only started watching maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Started with kuuga, but ended up watching and finishing Kabuto about midway through the series. Finished kuuga after that then watched decade followed by Agito.

As of now I'm almost done watching all the hesei shows, just need to finish blade, kiva, den-o and hibiki; all of which Im almost or around half way through.

I've seen around the first 10 eps of both the original KR and Black, but I really need to start more of the showa stuff some time

I think it either original Kamen Rider or New Kamen Rider was my first, cant remember cause I was about 5

Kamen Rider Decade, two days ago xD

The first Kamen Rider I watched was Black Rx. This was after I got into Masked Rider and found a few raw eps online when I was in college. WAKE UP THE HERO! :)

Well ive seen the first 2 episodes of decade but the first one i watched, or will watch, all,The way through from the beginning is fourze

I was always a fan of the original Kamen Rider, based on his design and his saturation in Japanese pop-culture (anybody that's played fighting games in the 90's will tell you, there were a ton of Rider references!) but I never got a chance to see his show. The first actual Kamen Rider ANYTHING I saw was a fansub from Chinatown in NYC of X's movie, "The Five Riders vs. King Dark"

Then, I managed to get some of the original series on VHS. Unsubtitled, wayyyyy back in the day. When that kind of thing was common in comic book stores. The first series I ever saw fansubbed, all the way through, was Hibiki! Years and years later. But by that point, I had seen a bunch of shows raw.

It's so nice that the franchise is getting so much attention these days, and so many series are getting translated!

If we're counting the American version than I guess Black RX

But in Reality Faiz was my first series.

I started with Blade but in my heart i think Double was my true first series

W, with OOOs being the first one I watched in regular airing order.
