I messed around with my Kyoryujin yesterday and I gotta say: I'm in love. Do the Stegagochi and Dricera have simplistic transformations? Yep. Does it really matter? Nope! I love the Gabutyra transformation. It reminds me a bit of Gobuster Ace (which was a great Sentai mech...by itself). I'm just thankful it's not a partsformer like Gobuster-Oh. While I didn't mind Gobuster-Oh overall, I prefer my transforming figures to be self-contained if at all possible. Also: the plastic quality on this thing is fantastic. I compared the plastic on Gabutyra and FOC Grimlock and the difference is appauling. Hasbro has REALLY gotten as cheap as possible in regards to plastic quality (yes I know: old news).

Now to hope I get my payment request for Zactor and Parasagan and Jyudenchi Set 2 from HLJ tomorrow! So far they've really impressed me!

Man, you guys need to stop making me want the Kyoryuger mecha. I've avoided all of them so far. The only one I plan to buy is Zakutor and that's only for the Judenchi. I don't have money to get Kyoryuzin around all of my other Bandai purchases.

Here's a review of Parasagun and Zakutor. I'm just not feeling these two I'm afraid. While Parasgun looks nice in dino mode Zakutor just looks ugly with no neck. Unless the inevitable super combination that will incorporate all 5 members floors me I'm going to pass on them for now as I'm content with Kyoryujin as is.

Gabutyra is just enormous. I've been messing around with mine's for a while now, to see if I can get any different special music to play with the other Jyudenchi that's been released so far. So far I can't find any other different combination that emits a new song besides the Stegochi, Dricera, and Gabutyra combo. Maybe I'm just not doing it right haha.

Care to elaborate? If you meaning inserting the batteries like in the show then yes because you have too.

@Icandy: What do you think of the volume? Is yours super load? Speaking of I watched CStoys unboxing and Mr. S said the DX battery sets are going to be limited to one run for now. Bandai doesn't want to overproduce like they did with the ranger keys. So if you want them you better grab'em while you can!

i know about the batteries, i mean combining them like in the show.

It's fairly loud, though I think it's a little less loud than the Gabrevolver. I've gotten pretty acquainted with the loud samba music from this toy line already ever since I've got my hands on the Gabrevolver, so the volume doesn't really annoy me as much or give me any second thoughts on it, especially since there's an off button. I've for sure grown to like it.

Kyorzujin is just an awesome toy, and it's a really big and hefty one too. I think it's one of those toys/designs where you can easily dismiss it from looking at pictures or videos on the web but once it's right in front of you and in your hands, you'll probably think otherwise. :)

Mine's not all that loud either though I think I may be experiencing the same thing you are :D I definitely agree with you about how the toy looks/feels in hand. When I saw the photos online I found myself not really wanting the mecha this year. But the more I saw of the photos the more I found I was willing to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! This is perhaps one of my favorite Sentai/Power Ranger mecha I have ever owned!

I know right? I have been kind of judging (/preventing myself from buying them because there's going to be like 23 of them) them since I first saw them... but those combinations are so cool. It'd completely change my opinion of them.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how massive that Brontosaurus is going to be in toy form considering how massive kyoryujin by himself is!

It's going to be so fucking amazing to see that combined carrier mode. It's like SaidaiOh done right.

Just realized the one with the plesiosaurus has new feet.

Because my first thought when I see a dinosaur robot with a plesiosaurus attached to it's back isn't "what are the feet like?". :p

It's a shame, because in terms of combinations, carrier zords have always been the lowest in terms of "Interest" and "Cool" to me...

It's kind of sad that my favorite carrier zord (Dekabase Robo) isn't even a carrier. It's just a giant robot that just happens to store the other mechs.

I don't see the difference. If it's big and carries stuff, then it's a carrier.

EDIT: That form with Kyoryujin, Pterainden-Oh Western, and the long neck, for some reason it reminds me of something from Rescue Fire, maybe the Wyvern Cannon.

Totally agreed with. I'm really REALLY hoping that (Brachiosaurus?) carrier will be able to have it's own gattai with Parasagun and Zakutoru just like Gunbir-Oh from Go-Onger. And omg a Plesiosaurus! Maybe those turbine looking things can become Kyorzujin's shoulder cannons?

I'm not big on candy toys, but am I the only one interested in the KyoryuRed candy toy? He looks to be about the size of a 4" Power Ranger and more poseable.

It looks neat. I'd probably pick it up if I collected 4'' figures.

Candy Toy figures are awesome, but of course feel lighter than other figures.
