I think it works well. It probably means they'll kill him off at the end of the season as it'd be okay to destroy a robot as opposed to killing a human.

The "I WILL STOP YOU, YOU ARE HURTING THE EARTH" dialogue makes me belive that he's going to be very narrow in what he'll do and in his view of the world. Its possible he could go haywire and attack the rangers for being humans and humans pollute the earth.

I don't know what you people are complaining about; this episode is awesome, and Robo Knight is awesome. I have never watched Tensou Sentai Goseiger, so I do not know much about Gosei Knight, but I do not care, because Saban has given me Power Ranger Optimus Prime (or is it Power Ranger Lio Convoy?).

In terms of the episode itself, there were some editing flubs, like how Mr. Buckley's rake kept changing its position, and I don't really like/understand the villains, but it's Power Rangers, so I will forgive it. Also, the Groundion card bothered me, but I like to think that the Lion Mechazord's vehicle type is a Groundion, and Robo Knight just calls himself the Lion Mechazord in that form. All in all, a good episode.

And, since Sentai seems to have lost his faith, I shall now nominate myself to his position.

This is why I have strong fears that Saban has learned NOTHING during the timeframe he spent without Power Ranger under his control. He comes off to me as a man so desperate to regain his former glory he's tainting the legacy he started...and I think he doesn't care at all.

I see no reason for the hatred towards Robo Knight. True, he may not be Gosei Knight, but remember- he's only appeared in one episode (not counting his appearances in Troy's dreams). Characters develop. They change. That's what story-telling is about. Now, Power Rangers might not be the best example of this, but Megaforce has not let me down yet, and it doesn't seem like it will anytime soon.

Besides, Captain Planet has nothing on a gun/sword-slinging/wielding robot lion knight who transforms into a robot lion head and combines with a dump truck to form a robot lion tank before combining with a robot lion blimp/jet and a robot lion submarine to become Lion Pope, all the while making you fear for your life if you don't recycle and still coming off as Optimus Prime. NOTHING.

As far as I can tell, yes, he is.

No. Even at his blandest, Optimus Prime is nothing like Roboknight.

The environment anvil was just too much. There's not being subtle (like nearly every single line Emma has) and then there's this episode, it was just too much. I was actually looking forward to Robo Knight, but if this is what he's going to be like for the rest of the series, then they've successfully let the hype down.

ok so I finally caught the episode, ok, the environment thing is getting annoying, but RoboKnight is pretty cool, more or less an updated Blue Centurionn :lol

Just caught it on Hulu and thought it was ok. I liked that Jake seemed to be getting somewhere with Gia. Roboknight was ok. Im looking forward to seeing his character develop more. The environment thing was not all crazy all over the place the way the previous posts seemed to make it out. Yes, it was part of the main plot but so what? It was an environment episode and it's a kids show. That is to be expected and isn't exactly a bad thing. I hope the folks that have been turned off really decide to stop watching because this show is not for them. It is a Power Ranger's show not a Super Sentai show. GO watch Goseiger if that is your preference. These characters only look like the ones you were used to, but they are not them. I give this episode 7 out of 10.

This episode was just eh for me I was hoping robo knight would of been more b.a. The environmentalism was annoying and if I was a parent and my kids where watching that I would be a little pissed off.

So, we have gone from me bitching about how awful this show is. To... well, hating the show, but in a way that "It is so awful, it is good"

The acting on the show, clearly is bad... But, this introduction to RoboKnight. Ahaha, you can't really even set it up for anything, except for him to be a dork.

=P I give this episode a 3/10 due to failed execution of introduction of villians and sixth ranger.

Cannot wait until next season, hopefully we get more actors. =D

Why though? I'm a parent of a six year old boy. I saw nothing in the episode that I would have a problem with him watching.

RoboKnight's voice is badass. "Blasphemy" I hear ye* cry, but hear me out. I think the emotionless "complete the prime objective" voice is badass. And the "protect the environment" shoehorning is corny in a fun way, like something in a drinking game or The Room. Or the "The Room Drinking Game."

Plus, his whirring doesn't bother me. Maybe it's all the years of Transformers.

Maybe back before Mega Force, as mature and somewhat dark plot-lines are not unknown in Power Ranger, but I don't think Mega Force will ever attempt to adapt something as dark or mature as Barizorg in any way at all, Barizorg will probably be filtered down to something like Creepox; a forgettable "Dragon" character. Lets face it, Mega Force has shown no attempt to have much plot at all and seems to be being intentionally generic and more child-friendly then RPM or even Samurai, which is not a real discredit as we are not the target audience, but it means this plot would be very, very unlikely to happen.

haven't seen the episode yet, but curious as to if they gave him the proper voice he needed

I'm far from a Power Rangers fan, but I gave Megaforce a chance and had been enjoying it up till now. Apologies to the people who liked him, but Robo-Knight was terrible imo, and kind of ruined it for me. He brings the show a lot closer to the stereotypically negative view of Power Rangers I had before watching it. I'll give next episode a shot but really this was bad(again, imo).

I think it's interesting how much people are complaining about Robo Knight's over-the-top environmentalism. Really it's very similar to his Senati counter-part, Gosei Knight, who had a protect the earth at all costs attitude when he first appeared. I was not a big fan of Goseiger but I thought Gosei Knight was the best part of it. I'm intrigued to see how they will use Robo Knight in Megaforce going forward and how he will relate to the rangers.

It's been a few days. I watched the episode again. And I'm still on the fence. I don't outright hate him anymore, so that's progress. But I don't love him as much as I love Gosei Knight. I'll give it a few episodes. See if he branches out some, becomes less stiff. We'll see.

I'm glad you've stopped hating him, but upon seeing your ModRanger super mode, I was thinking about having OnoreCyan always call you RoboKnight when you take that form. Because that's OnoreCyan's shtick, dim obnoxiousness from an insanely gifted fighter that just makes everyone irritated, even the other Onorengers!

But hey, at least Gia is doing the GoseiYellow suit justice. Moune is awesome and Gia is awesome. Hooray! :)

This was the first episode to NOT use the theme song during a finisher. It was also the first episode that I lost interest in and started doing something else while it was on in the background.

Robo Knight reminds me of a BAD Blue Senturion/Senturian/Centurion/Centurian. The voice and lack of any emotion (I get it, it's robotic, but I think he's TRYING to have emotion in his voice and it's just not working) in the voice is causing me to really dislike the character.

Super Megaforce will draw me back in for sure but if this is the future of Megaforce, I don't know if I can stomach the ride for anything out of morbid curiosity.

All this talk of Robo Knight sucking and barely any of how badly the “toxic beasts” were integrated into the plot? They literally just randomly show up, team up with Vrak and Malkor for the hell of it and then that’s that. Dunno why I’m surprised, since multiple villains has never been PR’s strong point. Their dialogue was all over the place too, despite wanting to pollute the world and being made of pollution half of their lines seemed like they were angry at humanity for polluting the world.

As for Robo Knight…he’s okay. Not brilliant, but far from awful. He’s far more badass than the Blue Senturion ever was. I think they missed a trick not giving him the same voice as Gosei (but obviously robo-fied), because side by side they sounded pretty similar. I don’t think him talking in zord mode is a big deal either, I mean why wouldn’t he?

So yeah, a pretty average episode all in all but far from the death of Megaforce.
