No, I don't think so. Hell, I vehemently HATE Hurricanger, Gaoranger, Abaranger, and I really don't enjoy Shinkenger much at all. We're all going to have differing tastes on various shows and franchise. Most would burn me at the stake for hating Shinkenger. But I have a right to my opinion damn it! :lol

However I will say yet again that I thoroughly enjoy Goseiger. Despite the hate out there for it, it's easily one of the series I've enjoyed the most. The characters are fun without being stupid, earnest without being ridiculously heavyhanded and serious, and they are most certainly not children. The mecha are fun designs if a bit gimmicky, the suit designs are great, and who can't resist that theme song? It was the perfect backdrop for the Legend War.

I will go on record in saying that I hate Dengeki Sentai Changeman more than Goseiger, even if the whole of HLJ or RangerBoard condemns me for that. But who cares? Everyone's got a show they hate.

As for Goseiger, I don't care too much about it. I stopped after the first two episodes mostly because I have other shows to watch. At least they were respectable in 199 Hero Great Battle.

So let me get this straight, you are judging an ENTIRE series based on the first 10 episodes and the last 5 episodes. You can judge those episodes but not the entire series. It doesn't work that way.


You are judging Villains based on those few episodes as well? There were 3 villain groups in Gokaiger. If you only watched the first 10 and the last 5 episodes, then you really can't judge all the villain groups.

Did you watch Random episodes here and there? I can only guess you did since you seem to have formed an opinion on Gosei Knight. If however you did not watch other random episodes, then I do not think you really can judge Knight.

You can like or dislike any sentai there is. I just think if you are going to judge the things you did, you should at least have seen then episodes you are judging.

Vehemently hating something like sentai just seems a bit.. well it seems like you are taking it a bit to seriously to use such wording to describe what you think. Heck, even in toku I don't really care for I can find at least a few things I enjoy.

Uh, yes it does, because if the first 10 episodes are shit, the entire series is shit because the first 20% of the show makes the other 80% not worth watching. Do you sit through Episodes II and III if you do not like Episode I? NO!!

Were there villians with human forms? And if there were different groups, they sure didn't look any different. Blade Runner looks like the same dude that was in the beginning of the series.

I gave the show 10 episodes to impress me like I do with every show, be it Sentai, Kamen Rider, or an anime series. If the first 10 episodes are garbage, I am not going to suffer through another 40 of said show just to see if it gets better. I tried that experiment with DekaRanger and it failed miserably.

As for why I watched the last 5 episodes. I have a rule, I will always watch the first 10 episodes, and I will always watch the last 3-5 episodes to every Sentai series. Thus, if Gobuster is crap and I stop watching it after 10 episodes, I will still watch the last 3.

Well when a series is as bad as those examples there's nothing wrong with it. And it seems most people feel like that towards Goseiger so why single me out for disliking the series that I do? Sometimes there aren't things I can find to enjoy. Just about everything in Gaoranger was off-putting to me, aside from the VS. movie I can pretty much skip over that part of the franchise.

Exactly. Mine would be Boukenger - I'd watch Goseiger 10 times over before I sat through that again.

Aside from the characters, I agree with you completely. The aesthetic and designs were gorgeous and it really was the perfect backdrop for the war. Plus that theme song is epic.

1. If you didn't like the first 5 episodes why did you keep watching?
2. You still can't judge the ENTIRE series based on 15 episodes. You can judge the episodes you saw, and that it's not a show you like. But you can't really do any judgement of characters and how they grew, you can't make broad sweeping statements about Knight when you hardly saw anything with him.

3. The fact that you ask that question about villains means you don't really have a place to judge the later groups. I mean how can you judge them and say they all look the same if you didn't watch those episodes. Blade Run also had form changes.

4. That's fine. I don't watch shows I don't like after a few episodes. Thing is, I don't judge episodes I haven't seen. I don't say I know what is what about the villains if I don't know about them. And I certainly don't make statements about ranger characters that i know nothing about. It would be like some one saying how awful, say Megasilver is, just because of watching 1 random episode with him in it.

That is just it, I did not feel the characters were any different from when I stopped at episode 10, watched episode 23, 36, and then 46-50 (or whatever the last 5 were).

You are right on this, but one of the reasons I watch Sentai is for the villians, and if the villians do not interest me in the slightest, I have a hard time getting into the show. That is why I could not get into DekaRanger, why I do not care for Bioman, and hate TurboRanger almost as I do with Deka, Go-On, and Gosei. It is also the main reason I found Shinkenger to be an average show at best.

MegaSilver is debatable, as he really did not add anything to the show. :D
