I understand this, but this is the first season from my memory where they seemed to be making a concious effort to avoid power creeping.

Normally Red, before Sixth shows up, out classes the rest of their team ridiculously while the other colours spend the season as spare parts or comic relief, maybe bar one.

Here they had really made each member of the team seem badass, unique and most importantly at the same level of power but then they do the classic, clichéd sixth is better than everyone thing anyway. Why?

Man I really hate it when that happens! :lol

I really liked this episodes, I'm now totally sold on utchy, such a badass and a really nice guy at the same time. Plus it was a sort of Amy focused episode, which is always fun. Uni-cycle scene was bizzare, but eh whatever.

Still digging this show even if it doesn't have an awful lot of over arching plot.

Loved this one. Especially Candi's singing :lol I could hear that every week and be good. Little dissapointed in Nossan though. So easily distracted by a woman.. Not that would ever happen with me, just saying. And the way things are going I think we can nix the whole Sixth Dino Sentai always die idea. Everything seems way to upbeat for a death :lol

Well, Ramirez is already dead, so in a way, we already have it :lol

Anyway, finally watched the episode. It was cool. I liked Utchy was only doing the aloof jerk thing to better help his allies, not just because. I also enjoyed that he's actually a really nice guy. Makes him easier to like.
I also liked the minute long Ramirez cameo at the start. Tells me that they haven't forgotten about him like Dekaranger did with DekaBright.

Oh, and why does Gold have 6 Pteraraidenoh batteries?

Well one for the Gaburichanger, 3 for the Zander Thunder, and 1 for Pteraidenoh. That's 5, so 6 is just for good measure?

I guess.

I'm of two minds about this episode.

On the one hand…Kyoryugold is quite awesome, and I'm starting to like him quite a bit, it's hilarious seeing him tying to interact with the modern world. And I'm glad he's not a complete and total jerk.

On the other…what the hell was up with that unicycle scene? was that part really nessicary?

The boned themed monster was a great design, but I really don't get how taking someone's spine will make them fall head over heels in love with Canderllia…

And DAMNIT, Canderellia's Deboss song is catchy as hell…anyone know when the song is suppose to be released?

Overall, not a horrible episode by any means. Just those above issues kinda nagged at me.

The arbelest is the changer. It's called the Gaburichanger. It is an arbalest as a weapon but that's its' name.

I voted Average due to the reasons listed in my previous post. Take those out and this ep would be as good as the rest. But I remain firmly as the fan of the show and always eagerly anticipating next week's ep.

I voted good because Utchi subverted my expectations and wasn't just doing the aloof loner 6th ranger thing, and I enjoyed that Kyoryu, despite being considered a 'back to basics' series, isn't doing everything by the books.

I'm so glad I'm not alone.
