Eitherway, I'm sick of this casting drama. These are conflicts between an actor(s) and Saban. It's a business dispute. Either intentionally or unintentionally, the actors have dragged the fandom into it. The fandom has no place there because the fandom is uninformed on the details and will almost always side with the actor rather than the company. I'm not placing blame on either the actor(s) or the company, the point is the fandom can only make it worse by pushing.

I think the reason people are upset is Saban Brands, especially at the last Power Morphicon, seemed to be really stretching out the hand to the older fans, hyping up Megaforce as the "most expensive" season and that it'd be full of surprises that would appeal to new viewers and older viewers alike.

But all we seem to be getting in terms of information is that the show is taking steps BACKWARDS in terms of quality and writing, by bringing back a staff that did not resonate with the older audience (writers) and seemingly taking out attempts at originality for more copy/paste Sentai stories.

The show may be intended for children, but when you market a season towards the older audience and more or less end it with a "HAHA FOOLED YOU", it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We may be a small demographic, but we're still part of the overall demographic, as Power Rangers has become pop-culture (like Transformers, Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, etc.) and to do next to nothing for that demographic in a 20th Anniversary is akin to saying "Thanks for sticking around but we don't need you anymore".

With that feeling coming across as it has lately, I don't blame anyone for being upset/irritated/frustrated/annoyed. Too early to /ragequit, but it's definitely lowering many peoples' expectations for what they were hoping would be one hell of an anniversary season.
