It is kind of being heartless if she doesn't like how he is and she knows how he feels. Went through some what of the same thing, still friends with the girl but she is a bit heartless and not a really good person in general.

Finally saw where Gia lead in battle, a battle that no one morphed where they should of morphed. Troy was in trouble and needed help ASAP. There is no way Gia is a better Yellow Ranger then Tonya.

Although it wasn't plotted well, I always love a good unmorphed fight scene.

Don't get me wrong, I do too, but it should of been plotted better.

Tanya.

Because Gia is an awful character that seems to have fans swooning when the only emotion she's capable of is snarling.

Seriously, the only yellows I'd vote for Gia over are Dustin, Chip and whoever the one in OO was.

And that scene, where they were unmorphed, is one of the best scenes so far in Megaforce. Hands down.

Tanya is a skilled and competent yellow who everyone forgets just because she was the only new character in a series that featured recurring characters. She had her powers thrust on her just because Billy couldn't be bothered to be a Power Ranger any more, accepted them without any qualms and proved herself to be a vital member of the team without any training whatsoever. Plus she has far more focus episodes in Zeo than people give her credit for, probably more than Adam, Rocky AND Kat.

Gia is just a stereotypical "tough chick who apparently has a heart of gold". Which maybe might work for her better if Ciara Hanna was capable of genuinely smiling on camera.

I like Gia because she is a strong female character.

A lot of "strong female role models" on Power Rangers are actually really shallow and artificial, they are the media's representation of what they think makes a strong female character.

I love that Gia isn't just forced into a relationship with Jake, like when Kira immediately crushed on Trent because...she was the only girl on the team.

I like that Gia is strong enough and respected enough by her team that all she needs to do is nod and her friends go charging into battle, it's enough.

And I like that she, amongst all the best yellows like Lily, can fight and fend for herself, she doesn't rely on the red or the sixth, she is strong herself.

I don't think Power Rangers has enough characters like Gia, where their strengths are actually established, rather than just told to us. I find her inspiring.

Tanya walked out on a relationship because the guy she liked tried to be jealous and controlling.

Tanya could fend for herself and was respected by her team despite NONE of them knowing anything about her prior to becoming a ranger.

Gia is no more a "strong female character" than anyone who's come before her.

I can't speak for Tanya as I've not seen Zeo since I was a kid but...yes.

More often than not in a Power Rangers team the members aside from the red and sixth are just kinda....there and the female members of the team often get shafted even further, if that is even possible.

Right, gotcha. I assumed you were talking about yellows specifically rather than the remaining members of each team. That makes a lot more sense.

Still, there are still a few I'd put on par with Gia, but each to their own. In all honesty, I'm the guy with the Zeo username and sig so it was obvious where my vote was going anyway :lol
