A very strange list indeed. It seems odd they didn't plan for the full Samurai cast to return when drawing up their contracts, and there's also a disproportionate amount of Lost Galaxy cast members in that list too. I love seeing as many returning actors as possible (without sacrificing story for Super Megaforce characters) but it's seeming more and more likely that this anniversary will not be as well-rounded as Gokaiger's celebration for sentai. Can't say I'm surprised, but my main issue that other people have also repeated is that Saban Brands had a long time to plan for this. You could make the excuse that Samurai was their first time handling the franchise in years, even when it was the first time they had the entire sentai play out ahead of time, but with Goseiger and Gokaiger footage there's really no excuse anymore.

I have a funny suspicion that most of these cameos will probably be thrown in during their Legend War segment.

Not a terrible line-up, but definitely not a good one, either. I'm happy that Lightspeed Rescue's getting some representation and Wes is probably one of the ones I wanted the most and the fact they actually got Leo back is amazing, but there's a LOT of gaps. As expected, Disney is pretty much completely ignored and that sucks, no SPD, RPM or Mystic Force is a tragedy and I'm not confident that they'll all be used well, but only time will tell. I'm going to try not comparing Super Megaforce to Gokaiger, which will be hard. Super Megaforce just had a lot to live up to and it won't be able to be anywhere near the calibre of Gokaiger, so it's better to just view it as a completely separate entity and try to enjoy it as that even if, unlike where Gokaiger succeeded, this is just coming off as more and more wasted potential.

It's an okay list. I like the people on it. Surprised there are three from Lost Galaxy, considering they seem to have mostly got just the reds from the other series. Hopefully, we get news of more!

Also, I'm not extremely knowledgeable about Gokaiger, but looking up a bit about who this Basco dude is, I kinda wish he was included.

My thoughts on how to handle the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legend War if the returning cast members only get a few seconds of airtime.

The former Rangers appear before the Legend War and each ranger morphs into action and right after their suit doubles of their ranger team who's cast members aren't their arrives and joins the fight.

I know it's far fetch but it would be awesome.

If any actors appear for the Legend War, it'll probably be like in "199 Great Hero Battle" where after they gave up their powers a few unmorphed Sentai just stuck around for a scene to explain to the Goseigers exactly what just happened.

Thanks but I meant more along the lines of not having the front page flooded with every bit of cameo news, be it confirmations or denials or whatnot, it's kinda hard to find news that I actually want to read when there are 12 out of 25 news posts all about, more or less, the exact same thing.

There's not much more to post than that. Power Rangers is what is big right now in the world of tokusatsu. We still have updates for everything else, but Power Rangers Super Megaforce is the dominating news feed right now.

Meh, no huge loss, though, much better actors from seasons that aren't already being represented were ignored, at least MMPR and Zeo has JDF to represent them.

I can't wait for Super Megaforce. It makes me mad that all of this is not happening this year. This year is season 20 this year is the 20th Anniversary. Why is All of this happening in season 21? A year later? Well. The good thing out of All of this is we do have past Rangers coming back. Like the Greatest Ranger of all Dr Tommy Oliver

Okay, so....Yeah, this is great news.

This season is the 20th season & 20th Anniversary.

Blake Foster (Justin, Power Rangers Turbo) has stated that he is NOT confirmed for Super Megaforce, but to keep your fingers crossed.

This leads us to believe that he is either part of the group waiting for their visas to go through (per Fury Diamond's post), or that he's on the "wait and see" group that will fill in if other planned cameos do not go through (also per Fury Diamond).
