That's a waste of money then. I mean they look cool but what's the point if they don't work for my Mobirates? That, and why are there two of them for Akiba Blue and Yellow? Other than some cosmetic differences, they principally are the same.

Probably, but work isn't really the right term. Compatible physically? Sure. But there are no sound effects built into the Mobirates for anything other than sentais up through Gokaiger if you're using the original release. If you're on the Legends Mobirates the only additional sentai it features are Go-Busters and Akared. They both have a "Kamen Rider" sound but that's literally all it says when you put any OOO rider key in there. The Metal Hero keys will most likely activate the "Special Ranger Key" sound.

VERY different from Gaia Memories.

The Candy/Capsule Gaia Memories are self contained toys with sounds, they DO stuff. The Medals and Keys don't do anything on their own. You need something else, which makes them inherently more limited and less useful.

Or that's how I see it, anyway, and that why I collect Memories and not Medals or switches or keys.

If you place functionality over aesthetics sure. I could counterpoint that while Gaia Memories make sounds, they're all just the same USB mould that have different colours and/or stickers. Ranger keys are WAY more varied in that respect.

Really? granted, I'm not interested in them to begin with, so I haven't studied them, but they all look pretty much the same to me, except for the paint, which is no different than different stickers on the memories.
