Is it weird I like him more than any of the actual Ryuki designs? (Except Zolda, I'll never badmouth the Bull)

It's been awhile since I last saw Ryuki/Dragon Knight…but weren't Abyss's contract monsters like actual random mirror monsters they'd fight in the show?

Nah, I rank him above most Ryuki riders apart from the big 4.

Same here. He really only comes in under Zolda, Knight, the Survives, and Ouja for me.

I want to get this and display it with my Beast Wars Depth Charge, AM Dreadwing w/Jiku and SIC Shauta (when that comes out). Cool.

I honestly really can't wait for this one, I love the design and creativity Decade had when this Rider was created. The reuse of 2 former Mirror Monsters becoming one awesome Contract Monster was sweet. This truly is going to be a good regular released SHF!

I don't know this guy from Decade, but he looks cool, and is a shark, and apparently is a normal release, which is all pretty cool.

His vents seem strangely colored though.

But... he isn't a Ryuki Rider, people. He's a Decade Rider. So him "being released before other Ryuki Riders" doesn't matter at all. He's not a part of the series.

I just find it odd that he's a mass release, but hey, that's actually good.

And expecting him to come with some massive contrast monster is a little petty... Especially when, unlike with the other situations, his were never shown.

If you mean in toy form, yeah, we never saw AbyssHammer and AbyssSlasher. Although they appeared in the show and combined together into one massive Mirror Monster, I don't see why people should complain that he doesn't come with it. Otherwise, price would be a lot more :lol.

And also to those who wonder why his vents are so mismatched, that's cause that's how AbyssHammer and AbyssSlasher were colored.

Just watched the episodes he's featured in. The Rider himself wasn't great, but the design is great and even better in figure form. Definitely going to want this guy. September is going to be soooooo expensive.

I knew I wasn't the only one.

While I am sort of confused about why people are complaining about Abyss, I'm really excited for him! He's one of my favorite designs, even if he's just a one-time character, and I'm really glad that he's a mass release instead of an exclusive! He always looked a lot better than some Ryuki Riders like Ryuga or Scissors to me, too. This gives me a lot of hope that Femme or the Alternatives (at least one of them) will be mass release, and that we'll see more curve-ball releases down the line, too. If not, well, that sucks.

But September looks like it'll be very expensive for me. Good thing that's my birthday month!
