Just saw this, supposedly the blacked out face is the new rider. It doesn't match up with anything we have seen so far.

Well yeah, I get that. But it's kinda like announcing a new Star Wars game and having vaders head blacked out. Seems kinda redundant to me, but I'm the one who didnt recognize the first kamen rider so what do I know. : /

Yeah, I guess he doesn't really fit the whole blind Rider thing so well. But hey, aren't the suit actors pretty much blind in those bulky helmets anyways? :p

I think a blind rider would be kinda cool but kinda redundant. I mean unless they remove the eyes off the helmet, how are you even going to know he is blind? I mean I know we'll know from him out of suit but how do you represent someone fighting without sight in a Rider suit? And I dread to think of how difficult it'll be to choreograph action sequences if you literally take away the suit actors sight.

It could be something as simple as having a cloth integrated into the helmet over the eyes.
with as many different styles of fighting they have done over the years I'm sure they could figure out a way to properly have a blind rider fight.
I just think the zatoichi reference would be really cool, One piece just recently introduced a character that is based on him and he has been pretty popular. (Even though we don't really know anything about him yet)

My first thought was "looks like Kento from Ronin Warriors."

I was actually on the phone with a buddy earlier talking about this and we both thought it looked like an awesome Samurai Troopers type suit. I'd love it if they go with this Samurai theme. Hopefully it'd be better and more focused than Shinkenger.

The suit could be a form change, were he could have a simple base form like Den-O then wheres different armors that change his abilities and/ of fighting styles

Which would make sense since he's an armoured warrior.

Would be cool if he wields like different weapons relating to different deceased warriors who take him over when he wields the weapon for specific forms and powers.

Different weapons would be cool. I'd love to see a naginata being used.

It does sound like a cool concept,but still silly.I wonder what the other fruits will be? The armor in the pic is apparently an orange.The shoulders fold under and the front and back chest piece folds up to form it.

Makes me wonder what the base form looks like.

Say what I said on Facebook. Not buying it. Wizard was supossed to be a Painter and Kyoryuger was going to have Dinosaur Time-Trains. Just not buying it.

The only reason I'm buying it is because it seems to have a bit from each rumor in it(A knife being involved in the henshin),and the drawing shown does make sense when you look at the suit.

If it's fruit or something different altogether,who knows.But it does look like the armor does do that transformation.

Actually, the one month gap is going to be filled with Heisei Era re-runs, since Gaimu is suppose to be another anniversary show.

Although it is probably bollocks, I can't begin to express how shit a fruit samurai Rider sounds to me. I'll give them a chance, as they managed to fuck up a perfectly sound premise for Wizard so they could make a shit premise awesome but meh.
