I actually saw the release of Yellow, Blue, and the Gouraigers coming. Now I'm just waiting for them to make Shurikenger and the rest of Dairangers *damy you Bandai for not making the remaining Dairangers sooner* and I'll be set.

Figuarts sure is pre-viewing a lot.

Hurricanger was never my favorite team. It's hard for me to appreciate the lack of a uniform design.

I hope this preview doesn't make this team a priority, as there are several other teams we've started that I would like completed before they start cranking out Hurricanger figures. They might be trying to take advantage of the all the attention Hurricanger is getting right now though with its VCinema movie though. So... :/

That is exactly what they are doing.

They have to balance the obscure and the popular, they can't release 90s sentai heroes which will only appeal to a niche audience if they haven't got a mass audience money maker funding it at the same time. And I'm grateful that things like Akibaranger have allowed us opportunities to get figures that Bandai probably would have never seen the point of otherwise.

At the end of the day it's a business and it's the profit that matters, not our desires.

No Shurikenger?... I'm a sad.

I have the Hong Kong subs on DVD (you can get them on eBay for like $20, really nicely done covers too). They're not bad at all, I just finished the entirety of Magiranger, there are some slight mistranslations (MagicSun instead of MagiShine) and rarely they get the English wording a bit confused (maybe one line every 3-4 episodes), but there's basically nothing wrong with them. They are far better option then just waiting and hoping they ever get finished.

I definitely recommend them! I bought them because my computer's download kept capping and I really don't regret the purchase. I have most they've released, just going to finish Dairanger before I watch the Dekaranger, Hurricaneger and Goseiger ones (I think Goseiger is just TVNihon subs on DVD, I know the Gokaiger DVD is just Overtime's).

I hate to tell you this Switchblade, but I think Kiwami Tamashii is dead. At least at retail. The only retail release this year was a bike. Everything else are exclusives working off the Kuuga stuff that was already in the pipeline.

PS This is the closest we're going to get to SIC Sentai anything.

Yes, that's it.
They're much cheaper on skydvds.com. You'll save a lot of money buying them from there. They're about about £10.00 each per season, and have they also have the single disc movies for about £3 each. But they do charge a small price for shipping. If you are after multiple things, it would be best just to do one larger order.

The video quality is OK, but they've clearly been downloaded the videos off the internet, and, as I said, sometimes single words are translated a bit dodgilyy, particularly names (Magirangers were "Magic Rangers", like "Magic Sun" instead of "MagiShine" and "Wolzard" was "Wulzaato"), but they'e never confusing or hard to understand, they're pretty clear. I'd say get them if you really want to see them and don't want to wait an indefinite amount of time for perfect subs. The DVDs are also region-free.

I need a Kuwagaraiger Figuart in my life. I can't do much with the Navy Thunder Ranger figure I have, given its lack of articulation.

Hell no, getting all 4 at the same time would be amazing.

I doubt it'll happen, but it'd be perfect. If you can't afford both at the same time, I doubt they'd be hard to find after initial pre-orders, assuming the pre-orders even sell out.

The Cyber Gundam link that Kiryu provided says they're TWE's, that Blue and Yellow are for January 2014, Kabuto and Kuwaga are for December 2013, and that preorders open on the 25th. At least that's what I got from it.

I find it odd that the Gouraigers are coming first though but they may have something to do with their Akibaranger appearance.

That's assuming Bluefin are able to get them in the first place (which I assume they will, but still). Otherwise there's no guarantee the price suddenly isn't going to skyrocket after release.

2-packs are fine as they are, any more I think is pushing it. 2-packs are a comfortable way of getting the figures out quickly, but at the same time acknowledging not everyone can afford a whole team at once.
