I'm still embarrassingly new to Gokaiger and ranger keys, what're DX keys?

And yes, it's mostly the harder to find candy or gashapon ones I've been seeing.

I'm guessing all of the MMPR ones fall under that catagory? Wonder what kind of selection we'll see here when they make it stateside. JPN ranger keys should still work, right? Or would we get re-tooled ones here and such? So many questions!

DX means that they're painted. They come with toys (like the Gokai Pistol and such) or in DX Sets like the one you bought or for special offers.

The only Zyuranger DXes are Tyranno Ranger (in the DX Set you bought), Tyranno Ranger in Metallic (First Edition bonus for Gozyujin) and Dragon Ranger (came with Gokai Spear).

Gashapon and Candy toys only have a painted head, while the rest is stickers and you assemble them yourself. I believe Mammothranger and Triceraranger were Candy toys and Pteraranger and Tigerranger were Gashapon. Gashapon Keys in particular are difficult to get. I also believe there are Candy Toy versions of Tyranno and Dragon.
I have almost a full collection of DX Keys, but I'm not really interested in the Candy/Gashapon Keys. I find the look of the stickers unappealing.

And no, they won't work, sadly. US Ranger Keys are going to be about half the size of the Japan ones and look ridiculously crap.

The US ranger keys appear to be very reasonably priced, but then there's the size issue which would explain that. I want to say they'll release them in sets here. Despite the terrible build to them, I may pick up some of them. It all depends on how the final products turn out.

Imma look for pics of the US ones, I've yet to see em.

Everything including the Ranger keys appears to be downsized for the Super Megaforce line. The keys themselves are different all together and have a spring loaded gimmick so they won't work the the JPN toys.

PG Skygrasper box is f-ing huge! the RG Skygrasper is barely big enough (assembled) to cover the SEED logo and Archangle image in the upper right corner. Looking forward to building it though, RG Skygrasper was really fun to build, so I wanted a bigger one!

Damn it, more US packaging now? I knew about Kiba but Hurricane Red? My Boukengers better not be in an altered box. I refuse to own anything with Operation Overdrive on the packaging :(

I thought it had been known for some time now that basically everything Sentai from Figuarts will be getting Power Ranger packaging from now on if its released here. :/ I specifically remember it being said that the Red Wind Ranger and OO two-pack would have new packaging at least.

Screw this. Not keeping my US ones then. Whenever they come in they're gone. Gonna order the original releases right now.

And the Boukenger two pack has never been explicitly stated to have US packaging. I personally asked Derringer about this and he couldn't tell me one way or the other. And it's not standard practice for them to change TWE boxes either. Very disappointed by this but oh well. Glad I know now.

I aactually like seeing the NS logo on Reds box, so makes me even more glad I decided to get Blue/Yellow and Crimson/Navy through Bluefin whenever they go up on AMazon.

I am shocked at how quickly The White Rangers U.S. release got here. It was exactly one week to the day i bought my Kibaranger that i saw my first White Ranger for sale.

It was at least a month before i saw the Green Ranger or Red Ranger compared to the Zyu releases. I hope this is a continuing trend. I can hold off a week with no problem. I will test this with Pink at the end of the month.

Wait, wasn't Red released before Tyranno?

A few lucky gentlemen were able to get Red at SDCC right around the release of Tyranno. It took a few weeks for Red to circulate to most retailers in the U.S.

Sailor Moon and the Bouken Blue and Black 2-pack (as Operation Overdrive) arrived a full day ahead of the mentioned arrival date from Amazon today.

I so hope we get Bouken Yellow and Pink announced here soon. Jetman and Dairanger already have me concerned we won't see team completion there.

As for Sailor Moon...bring on the rest of the Inner Scouts...and Tuxedo Mask, and the Outer Scouts, and some villains please.

Yeah, as soon as I saw the Operation Overdrive packaging, I placed an order for the JP release of both Hurricaneger 2 packs.

Bouken Silver would be cool, but given Bandai never gave us the remaining Dekarangers outside of the core five I'm not holding my breath on seeing him. It seems they pick and choose what sixth members they'll do on each team.

Or in Goseiger's case the sixth member is all we got. >_>

Don't get me wrong I don't expect Bandai to make them, nor would I vocally campaign for them (because there are hundreds of Sentai characters more deserving of figures), but if they want to throw them my way I wouldn't say no :lol

Swan is the only one I'd REALLY like to see them do one day, but she shouldn't be a priority.

They're on Mandarake for ludicrously cheap. Check on any given day and its bargan time, I got mine for $30.

I'd definitely buy them, instant pre-order even, but I stand by my statement that they need to focus on the 3 Jetman, the 2 core Boukenger and the 4 core Dairangers before they focus on any of the previous series' six and bonus figures, let alone power-ups. I can forgive Dragonranger, Kibaranger and Armoured Tyrannoranger because of the PR anniversary, but they need to finish those core teams before anything!

Also, Dekaswan made at least 4 appearances in Gokaiger plus an appearance in the movie, ironically. She had more screentime in Gokaiger then Dekaranger.

Anyway, while I'd like for them to finish teams before they start dipping into ancillary characters, it seems 6ths are just prime release candidates, seeing as we got ShinkenGold, GokaiSilver, GoseiKnight, Kibaranger, KyoryuGold, etc etc well before any non-red member of their team. Yeah, the Akibaranger characters broke that streak, but 6ths tend to get earlier releases for whatever reason.

I echo the sentiments for ALL the Dekarangers, I need full teams.
They already showcased Silvers prototype at the same even that featured the remaining Boukengers for the first time. He at least has a better chance than the other Jetmen who I don't think have even been on display yet.
