HLJ was GREAT for me for many years but then last year they changed their systems and started a really bad habit. They take more pre-orders than they can fulfill. And it's gotten to the point where most of the folks I know have pretty much abandoned them completely. I prefer CSTOYS but having to get up at 7am on Sunday to make sure I get an order in is a bit annoying.

I didn't get my preorder fulfilled either. I love CSToys' customer service but their items are seldom discounted, are they?

In the last year HLJ has either moved these pre-orders to backorder on me or FLAT OUT CANCELLED them and removed them from my "processing orders" entirely without notifying me:

Thanks to these bungled orders I've had to scour other places and use other contacts to get all these items after the fact.

And to top things off I bought a Red Buster SHF from them back when he was on sale in January. Not only did they manage to ship it to some random address other than mine, the only reponses I could get from them to find out where my package was was this:

I never got my Red Buster, they never got my Red Buster returned to them, I never got a refund, and have never gotten this particular issue resolved. I paid for him and he was shipped to the wrong address at no fault of my own and they never did anything about it :mad:

And that my friends is my laundry list of reason why HLJ is a joke of a website. They apparently never know how much stock they're getting on a particular pre-order so they just let people order and order and order. Then on day of release when people expect their orders to be filled, they aren't , and all the competitors are sold out so they have no alternatives left. I refuse to ever recommend or in fact use HLJ again.

Have you heard of image anime.

They do not carry the Arms Change figures, which this particular Watermelon Seed is for. They only carry the DX versions, which go with the Henshin Belt.

I'm glad this figure comes with the little crappy Gaim, because I don't want to leave the melon in melon mode too much and I don't want to always bury my arms change figure in it.

Win-win.

This thing is maximum juicing. And I prefer to call it Doomelon. Because it has doom in the name.

I like how it looks to have some basic articulation, and isn't just a typical sentai mech.
