Impulsively going into a dimension she knows is dangerous without anybody is pretty dumb in my book. She seriously couldn't wait for Micchy to come?

I still like her. Of course it isn't a very smart idea to go alone, but she's actually a female character that acts and has her reasons to act, unlike, let's say, Koyomi from Wizard. And she's not a nasty bitch, like Mio from Kiva.

Most of the time I don't see these characters even reach for their phone much less call/text others before going off on their own like a fool. And what about Yuuya? He didn't tell anybody he was going through a hole in the world. Don't get me wrong, Mai made dumb decision. I just mean it could've been a lot worse.

Definitely loved this episode, it was great to learn about Kaito's and Mai's past, Micchi's awesome, badass side with Cid. It was great to see Gaim, Baron and Ryugen working together. I hope we get to see more of that. Also intrigued with the Inves going to be popping up in our world which will be great to show them become heroes more than dancers. Can't wait to see more of Zangetsu next episode.

Another great episode. Good world building, character moments, and action. Had a good laugh when Kouta arrived in the forest only to ride off the cliff and fall down Looney Tunes style. And Mango Arms is pretty damn cool. I really like it when a user of a heavy weapon has to drag it behind them.
